Shopdo Update

Here is the final Shopdo update for April! You may recognise the first outfit as it was the one I used in the Fantasy World theme in the 25 Day Outfit Challenge that I am currently posting on my blog. It's a navy coloured gothic themed outfit using mainly items from Raven Candle. The second outfit is perfect for the early spring weather and features a green colour scheme. I used to create outfits such as this in Fashion Forward all the time. I just love the combination of the outers and berets with three quarter pants. Not a huge fan of the fringe purse but it matched the girly theme and colours of the outfit. The final outfit is another girly one but with a brown colour scheme this time. I love these giant outers which are new in this game, I had one in one of my Shopdo outfits last week. No clue why I called it Fashionisata, I just couldn't think of a name. 25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 7: Movie Inspired

Now I've already done a movie inspired outfit in the 30 Day Challenge, so I won't use the same outfit I used for that which was from St Trinians. I decided to go with a Minion inspired outfit for this challenge's movie theme. I'm sure we all know what a Minion looks like but here's a picture in case you forgot (which is hard because Minions are literally everywhere whenever there's a movie out).

The reason why I chose to dress like a minion was because I actually really enjoy the Despicable Me movies. They're super fun to watch and have a good story line. Years ago when the first one came out, we saw it for a friends birthday and I thought I would hate it and didn't really want to see it. But I enjoyed it immensely and have seen all the other movies since. The third one (the recent release) is my favourite so far because of the use of the 1980's music. Anyway, here's my Minion inspired outfit! Used one of the overalls dresses in the game as that was the closest look denim one to their work uniform.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 6: Bewitching Beauty

Now I thought this theme was quite similar to Day 3 theme of Fantasy World. So I went with another gothic outfit, but a bit more over the top this time. The final photo is my favourite shot of the outfit and those masks from Raven Candle finally came in handy! The outfit has a black and white colour scheme and I added the zombie bunny bag to give it more of a spooky feel. Love the black and white hair colours, I never use them much but they look so good with this hair style.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 5: In The Club

Finally the perfect excuse to use the club backdrop at the photo studio! Went for a cool look for today's theme of In The Club. Mixed together items from brands such as AZ-USA and Enid Chen. Paired the gorgeous faux fur outers with a sparkly strapless dress both in a silver coloured tone. Used that silly pose in the final picture, it's such as random and weird pose.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 4: Valentine's Date

Today's theme was Valentine's Date which I took as an excuse to dress entirely in the colour pink. That's romantic isn't it haha. Went with a feminine look using mainly items from Chorale. That brand has some beautiful looking pieces and I've always looked these coloured jackets. I used to use them a lot in Fashion Forward as they work with so many different outfits and styles. The shoes are one of my favourite new items and I really wish you could place multiple bracelet/watch items on your arms. I would really like to be able to wear a watch on one arm and a bracelet on the other.

Shopdo Visits: Too Many Boutiques!

Time to post some more Shopdo visits as I still have quite a backlog of pictures to get through. I just keep finding more that I haven't posted! First off, this girl's outfit is stunning! So chic! Loved her boutique layout as well as it was quite simple looking. The windows look great, I never use those much but I like how she placed them.

Found another cute little boutique with a cute owner. Love her girly outfit and ombre hairstyle. Did my usual wink pose in one of the photos. I use that pose all the time because it looks so great. I wish you could choose the individual poses because sometimes I only want one player to be winking.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 3: Fantasy World

The theme for day 3 is Fantasy World and I wasn't too imaginative with this one. Just went with a gothic style outfit as I thought it looked like something you'd see in a fantasy/RPG video game. I think Raven Candle and Purple Moon have the closest style to fantasy. Would've like to have maybe had some forest fairy themed items as they would've worked perfectly. Purple Moon totally needs wing accessories in the next game!

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 2: Flower Power

This one was an easy theme as I literally just opened up the search function, selected the girly style and flower pattern and picked all the items from that. I would totally wear this outfit in real life though as it looks so comfy! This vest item was one of my favourite items in Fashion Forward. I used to wear it all the time and always sell them to customers. Same with the pants, I was a big fan of those as well. Mainly more the blue coloured ones.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 1: Pop Idol

First outfit of the new challenge! The theme for today was Pop Idol and I decided to be boring for this first one and just wear one of the stage outfits I designed. This wasn't one of the ones I made for the main story line, but one I made randomly one day. The outfit features a cute hot pink colour scheme and a heart pattern. The name for the outfit is Highschool☆love which was inspired by the E-girls song of the same name. I was inspired by their pink racer style outfits in the MV and the heart symbol in the song name. I didn't use the actual heart in the name as it wasn't available so I went with a star instead.

Time for a new outfit challenge in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star! The new challenge is the 25 Day Challenge! Shopdo Update: Current Faves

Here is this week's Shopdo update and I have three brand new outfits available this week. The first one is a girly look that's perfect for winter. I've really been loving turtle necks recently in the game so I wanted to use one in an outfit this week. This outfit is called Snowdrops which I thought kinda linked to the blue colour of the outfit. The second outfit is a lively look that features the pants I used to use all the time in lively outfits back in Fashion Forward. I kinda went a bit overboard with the use of the colour purple but it looks cute. The final outfit is a psychedelic one to match the current theme of my boutique. I adore this poncho style outers that are new to the game. I went with the black, white and red one this week and found a bunch of items in the same colour scheme. Style Boutique 3 Play Journal: Makeover Time!

Came across something quite interesting whilst playing Style Boutique 3: Styling Star this week. Whilst visiting the park to check on something, a conversation between Angelique and Michel appeared. Michel had recently painted a new art piece and was showing it to Angelique. This was what the art piece was of: just a black cross. There was some dialogue as well along the lines of something about Angelique understanding what the piece was meant to represent which made Michel pleased.

Recently changed the interior layout of my boutique to a more psychedelic style. I'm finding since I changed the decor, I've noticed a drop in girly customers and more people are asking for psychedelic and gothic outfits. Which is a nice change and I've actually come across some new NPC's I haven't seen. Here's the new layout of my boutique which I previously showed on here.

It's nice to get a change in customers because I finally sell some psychedelic pieces that I never get the chance to sell. I've got quite a lot of Retrobeat in stock from when I was collecting all the items. Just noticed in the bottom picture that the girl is wearing a tube top over a shoulder-tee. Looks quite silly! Also we are wearing the same outer! Hers is a slighter darker pink though.

Shopdo Visits: Designer Outfits Galore

Thought I'd do another Shopdo visits posts as I quite a few pictures to share from my recent adventures. You may recognise my character's outfit in these pictures as it was featured in my latest Outfit Of The Day post. Now onto the visits! First I came across this stunning designer outfit that a player was wearing. I'm not a fan of yellow, but this outfit look amazing! Good choice of colours in the design.

I kept seeing this player on Shopdo but hadn't yet visited her boutique. So I decided to head over there and her boutique layout was rather cute. Loved her outfit as well and nice use of the new hairclips from Purple Moon. One of her catalogue outfits featured my favourite dress in the game! So happy about that.

MOMOLAND 3rd Mini Album Great! - Album Review

Now I've been interested in this K-Pop group called MOMOLAND since debut, but never really committed to being a fan of the group until recently. Their latest release Bboom Bboom was what finally convinced me to look into the group more. Honestly Bboom Bbbom is one of the best K-Pop songs I've heard for a while. I ended up buying their recent album Great!, so here is a review of the album.

Great! is MOMOLAND's 3rd Mini Album and was released in January 2018. The album only comes in one version and is quite a large album. It's one of the largest ones in my collection now and is only slightly larger than Crayon Pop's Evolution Pop but not as wide. The mini album includes the following:

• CD - 6 track album
• Photobook - 80 pages
• Photocard - Great! version
• Photocard - Selfie version

The mini album's design is quite simple and features white and red tones. The front features the group's logo and the title track Bboom Bboom is written in holographic print. The back cover has the track listing and the group's logo once more. The album is your typical K-Pop album that opens like a book with the CD stuck inside and the photobook on one side. The CD features the red/white tones like the rest of the album and is held in by a small tab.

Outfit Of The Day - Preppy Green

Trying to get through the backlog of Style Boutique pictures I have to post, so here's another Outfit Of The Day post. It's an older outfit of mine which you may have noticed my character wearing in Shopdo a while ago if you visited.

The outfit is a dark green toned preppy outfit featuring items mainly from Brooke Bridge. Preppy is personally one of my favourite styles in the game but it seems to rarely sell at the boutique. I demand more preppy customers! So my outfit was designed around this stunning blazer which has green trimming/pipping. I couldn't decide on what skirt to use and settled on this check mini one. This outfit reminds me of how we totally need ties/bow ties available for women in the next game! They would look so cute in outfits!
