Animal Crossing New Leaf - Dream Address

Recently updated my Dream Address in Animal Crossing New Leaf. Before the amiibo update, my Dream Address had over 3200 visits but sadly they were all deleted with the update that wiped all the old dreams. So I finally updated it with the new code.

The Dream Address for my town Sunbury is 7A00-004D-AD3C. I'm hoping to put in a few more fun things when I update it next such as outfits and accessories.

Here are some pictures of my Animal Crossing town called Sunbury. Follow the pink/blue paths to discover a variety of town projects or venture off into the forest via the stone paths. You can tell where my house is, it's the one completely pink with all the pink flowers. I will make a post one day about how my rooms are decorated, but at the moment I'm thinking about redoing the kitchen one since I recently built a shop room and didn't want two food related room designs.

Feel free to visit if you play Animal Crossing New Leaf. I hope you have a wonderful time when you visit Sunbury :)

Style Boutique 2 Play Journal - Terrible Outfits Everywhere

Finally got five stars in the unique fashion show!!! Well not the first time this has happened, actually did it ages ago when I first got the game but didn't take pictures when I was playing back then. Anyway I finally got five stars hooray! I made this psychedelic looking outfit which kinda had a matching colour scheme somewhere haha. I find using one or two items from a different brand works well with getting high scores. For example most of this outfit is from Retrobeat but I picked the socks from April Bonbon. For the hairstyle, I went with the afro because it is definitely a unique hairstyle. I wrote a more detail post about the outfit on my Style Boutique blog.

Still grinding away at trying to get five stars in the lively show but I always seem to get four stars. So close! But now that I've gotten five on the unique I can focus on lively for a while before cycling back around and finding more five star outfits for all the themes. I thought this sporty outfit was cute but it only got four stars.

Had some customers create some terrible looking outfits this week. It drives me nuts when they come in and request one item that clearly does not match their current outfit or their favourite theme. They just chuck it on top of their current outfit and it never looks good. The pictures below show some great examples I saw this week. I hope the girl in the bottom right corner comes in one day and requests a whole new outfit because her current one always drives me crazy with how it looks. And it's summer in the game! Who wears that outfit in summer??

Animal Crossing New Leaf Play Journal - Back To Work

So I've picked up playing Animal Crossing New Leaf again. When the game first came out, I played it every day for a very long time and then like all Animal Crossing games before New Leaf, I had to quit because I was addicted. It's still listed as my top played game on my 3DS! But I decided to pick it up recently because of the amiibo update that happened a while ago and my town is pretty much the same. Same old boring villagers live in it and not all my dreamies I had once upon a time. I like how you can use the NFC reader and amiibo cards to get villagers to move into your town now. Here's some quick pictures of what my town Sunbury looks like.

My house is pretty boring. Mainly designed around the colour pink the main room and then themed rooms in all the others. I recently re did one as a shop which I liked the final product of and some of the items you can order from the campground fitted the theme quite nicely.

Whilst cleaning out the streetpass houses, I came across the coolest Nintendo themed furniture! I have no clue how to get it but omg that chair is amazing. And the same person had some Hello Kitty themed furniture which was totally adorable and I know I will never have because I don't have the Sanrio amiibo cards.

I need these!!

Built some new town projects recently including the tower which I had been waiting forever for a villager to request. I have the perfect spot for it and lucky no one had their house there at the time. Also built a hammock which I'm still working on designing the landscape around it. I wish the game didn't have limits on how close you can plant things because that always messes up my plans.

Mayor sleeping on the job.

Style Boutique 2 + Angelic Pretty Lolita Dress

Whilst searching on Pinterest for Lolita dresses, I came across this particular dress that reminded me of one in Style Boutique 2. It doesn't feature the same library print  as the Library Dress but the colours reminded me of the dress. Not sure of the exact name of this dress, but it is from Angelic Pretty.

Here's some pictures of the dress from Style Boutique that I was talking about. It was part of the Japanese Autumn Goods DLC but was incorporated into the EUR/AUS and NA versions of the game when they were released. All I can say is that can I please have both these dresses in real life?

J-Pop Albums - E-girls, Dream Ami & AOA

Ordered some J-Pop albums recently from YesAsia and they arrived today! The ones I brought were AOA's Runway album, Dream Ami's Lovefool - Sukidatte Itte single and E-girls' E.G. Time album. I've had my eyes on the E-Girls album for a while and finally brought it. Both the AOA and E-girls' albums are the Taiwanese versions as they came with the bonus DVD and were a good price. The Dream Ami single has the most gorgeous packaging and came with the sleeve packaging which I love because it keeps the albums in great condition when storing them.

I will post some reviews on all theses albums soon as well as AOA's Angel's Knock which I received recently also with After School's Dress To Kill album. I've already done a review of Dress To Kill and spoiler alert - it's amazing.

Style Boutique 2 Play Journal - Copycat Outfits

Time for another update on my Style Boutique 2 activity. Still trying to get 5 stars in the fashion show for the lively and unique themes. Mainly focusing on the lively theme at the moment, but still only getting four stars. Ugh, I really hate fashion shows. Here's two outfits I made, the first one got 3 stars whilst the second got 4 stars.

This attempt got 4 stars but I just wanted to post this picture just because it's hilarious how the musical note got caught over my characters face in the picture. This happens if you spam the decoration button right at the end of the fashion show. And to make this even stupider, the game placed the picture as the billboard in Taylor Arcade.

Lately in the game I've just been grinding away at selling tickets to the fashion show and then tying to get 5 stars outfits. The seasons changed from spring to summer so I stocked up on new items for the season and cleared out all of my winter items. I was still trying to sell customers long sleeved tops because I thought they matched the outfit perfectly, but they will complain and refuse to buy it.

Made an outfit recently for Sasha and it was one of my favourite ones I've made for her. Here's a picture of the top part of the outfit. I love the pink shirt (can I get one in real life haha) and shorts combo. My outfit is pretty boring, not sure why I dressed my character completely in purple. I've changed to the blue baby-doll currently.

Occasionally, a customer will come to your boutique and request a girly outfit. Then a customer appears straight after saying she loved that girls outfit and wants one just like it. So as a joke, I dressed her in the exact same outfit as the first girl. When I went to visit them at the Rose Garden, this conversation occurred.

After School Dress To Kill - Album Review (Limited Edition CD+DVD+Photobook Edition)

Finally got my hands on After School's second Japanese album Dress To Kill! It's been on my wishlist for a number of years but the edition I wanted was always too expensive. I lucked out and found the First Press Limited Edition available for sale on ebay. And for a decent price! But I'll talk more about that later, so let's take a little look at what's included and a review of the album.

There's three editions available of Dress To Kill. The Normal Edition, First Press Limited Edition and Mu-Mo Edition. The Normal Edition comes with the CD and includes the Japanese version of Flashback as a bonus track. The Mu-Mo edition was a Japan exclusive and includes Lucky Girl as the bonus track and you could get member editions of the CD. The First Press Limited Edition (the edition I got) comes with the following items:

  • CD - 12 track album.
  • DVD - Contains two music videos, additional version of Shh music video and footage of their 2013 Japan fan meet.
  • Lyrics Booklet
  • Photobook - 32 page
  • Photocard - random from 8 different types.

First off, I absolutely love the design of this album! The colour combinations and the mod look is amazing. One of the main reasons I wanted to buy this album was just for the look of it. The album comes in a slip sleeve cover and the discs are located inside a DVD case box. The case and the photobook slide into the slip sleeve cover. Here's a look at the front and back of the covers (the sleeve and case have the same covers).

Back and Front of the case/sleeve cover.

Inside the case, there's a cool psychedelic design on the interior and on the CD and DVD's. The lyrics booklet is tucked in here and features all the songs lyrics and some photos of the group. The case is sturdy and none of the discs fall out during transport. Probably one of the best DVD cases I've ever gotten (had way too many cases with loose discs over the years).

Some photos of the group can be found in the lyrics booklet.
