MODEL Debut2 #nicola - Make-up Time!

There is a fun modelling job in MODEL Debut2 #nicola today and it focuses on make-up which is new! My job was to put together an outfit featuring pink eyeshadow and it was cool to have a different type of photo shoot. All the ones I've done before have focused on outfits and I like how varied the game is with the requests.

Here are a bunch of make-up selection menus you go through when doing the photo shoot. I went for a make-up look with shades of pink closer to the pink side rather than red end of the colour spectrum. The blush seemed a bit too much but looking back it could've worked. I've never been a heavy blush person and even in real life I find it tricky to find the right balance. Especially since I am quite pale and want it to show in photos but not go overboard. The pink lens could be interpreted as dramatic and they just seemed like the best ones.

Fashion Dreamer Play Journal - Outfits Galore

It is going to take me forever to get through all my Fashion Dreamer screenshots. These are from early on in the game when it first came out so it might look like I'm super behind in the game. In reality it is more like I'm super behind in posting play journals. At least we shall have lots of Fashion Dreamer content for a while. Starting off this play journal with this funky looking Lookit I created for a player. I made these pants when I was first starting out designing so they aren't fantastic. Actually used them a few times which is great and they always go over well when someone wants green pants.

Switched up my Muse's look for something more preppy and of course I went with the grey tones. Style games on Nintendo always have beautiful grey tones in their items and I found some excellent pieces with different tones. At first I wanted something more bold however I ended up with a preppy girly look. Of course I went with the beret because every outfit needs a beret. Took a few snapshots showing off my new look!

MODEL Debut3 #nicola Play Journal - Striped Style

Starting off my next session of MODEL Debut3 #nicola by visiting the gym! If you visit various locations in the gym during your free time, you gain stats which can be used to progress in the game. There are no activities or actions shown when you visit and you just get a cute animation of your character celebrating at gaining skills. This visit gained me a point in stamina which is useful when you go various TV program work such as variety shows.

After this, I headed over to the nicola office to take a new modelling job. The theme for this job was a boyish styled outfit featuring a  bordered top. Basically the job wanted a striped patterned top for the outfit and I made this super cute look before I realised I did the wrong thing. Oh well, this outfit looked pretty cool and I got carried away with just picking out an outfit. I even added something underneath to see if the game would like it pass but sadly no.

MODEL Debut2 #nicola - New Friends & Jobs

Large amount of screenshots for this MODEL Debut2 #nicola play journal as this was from a long play session. I managed to cover a few parts of the game during this play through and took some lovely photos as well! Starting off is the next modelling job and the theme is a sweet inspired look using an item with lace.

Once again, it was a challenge to pick an outfit that I liked and there was too many choices for the bottom half of the outfit. I wanted to go with a pink and black themed outfit as I found this nice top that had lace details to it. Quite a few skirt choices to go through and something with flow to it felt right. The first skirt is cute but the mini length didn't feel right.

My J-Pop Collection 2023

The J-Pop Collection post for 2023 is not an exciting one and is starting off on a sad note. Unfortunately I had to declutter a large amount of my T-ARA Japanese singles at one point of the year. The story is that when I first got these CD's along with some others from Yahoo Auctions, they stunk of cigarettes. Like super strong! At the time, I managed to get the smell out or so I thought. The CD's that had the jewel case type were okay but the ones in cardboard sleeves were not. I always kept them in a separate box due to the smell and I came across the box whilst cleaning. The smell still hadn't gone from them and I decided it was a sign to clear something out of my collection. At least I still have the songs in my iTunes and maybe one day I'll re-buy them. Until them, my T-ARA collection has shrunk to just these five titles: two albums and 3 singles (one from the subunit QBS).

Everything else in the J-Pop collection is the same as 2022 as I didn't buy any new titles. No Zenmarket purchases as it is too expensive to import nowadays and some of the items I want are rare to find. I occasionally check Yahoo Auctions and I cannot find listings for some of the older CD's I want. No clue where I'll buy from Zenmarket again, maybe if the exchange rate is amazing. I'm thinking about getting some albums off iTunes as it is easier and I don't have to store the CDs which is totally up my alley as I'm big into decluttering in 2024.

Lately I have been listening to a few of my E-girls albums and I forgot how much I love E.G. Crazy! That album is so good and is full of great songs for the gym. That is where I have mainly been listening to it along with some of the singles like E.G Summer Rider. Crazy to think I'm still missing E-girls singles from this photo! Only a few more releases I need from them to complete my collection of one of each of their discography. Also my yearly compliant of the last Dream Ami single not matching the rest as it doesn't have an outer sleeve. Still bummed about that one.

Fashion Dreamer Lookits Collection 2 - More Lookits!

Back in November, I posted the first set of Lookits I have received in Fashion Dreamer and it seems like a good enough gap between the posts to showcase the next set. Firstly I would just like to ask if other players don't receive many Lookits because I rarely get any now when I play. When the game was first out, I would get a good amount and now I get not much. Did everyone just stop playing the game or aren't using that feature. Creating Lookits for other players is pretty much all I do in the game so I thought there would be a good amount cycling through online. Oh well, maybe more will pick up once the game gets some updates. The Lookits in this blog post are from November to early December.

Let's take a look at a selection of Lookits I have received in the game with this first set being rather Lolita/Baby Doll themed. The game has some excellent dresses in this style and players are doing an amazing job creating coordinates. The second outfit was one that I actually wore in the game because I loved it! All my favourite shades of pink are included in it and thank you to the player who made this for me. All the other dresses are gorgeous as well and I might wear them when I'm feeling like switching up colours.
