November Favourites

Just another monthly favourites for today with November all done and dusted. I'm just ready for December to be over as well! We had Black Friday week just end and it wasn't too crazy this year. I think most people shopped early due to stock shortages or did it online. It was nice to have less customers around the place in the current times. The weather is finally warming up and it will be interesting to see how our first summer goes with wearing masks. Going to get better humid as well as they are predicting a wet summer and I feel the humidity a lot more with masks. I actually have to sew more masks as I've worn all mine out! The joy of wearing them 8 hours a day for work. Anyway enough chit-chat, onto what I've been enjoying this month.

Gaming

The new Animal Crossing Series 5 amiibo cards came out this month and whilst I did not get Dom the Sheep in any of my packs, my friend did! And she traded him with me! I'm so happy to finally have him in my town and I would've never thought it was possible. He is absolutely hilarious and fits in well with all my other sheep villagers. Gaming wise I've been playing a lot of the new New Horizons update as well as some 3DS.

In December, I am planning on doing a new Style Boutique outfit challenge series. I only really thought of it the other day and it will be pretty basic. But I thought it would be a fun way to end the year! So please keep an eye out for that soon!

Beauty

Managed to make it into a Priceline store this month! The store that was close to my work moved to the far end of the shopping centre so it wasn't as easy to get too. I visited the store in search of this specific palette which I hadn't been able to locate. Lucky this store had it and I finally own the Australis Barbie eyeshadow palette. Yes I mainly brought this just for the Barbie branding. I've actually been wearing eyeshadow a lot more recently and wanted to build up my collection. The colours in this palette are very pretty and I strangely like the brown tones more than the pink ones!

Outfit Of The Day - Retro Lady

Just managed to fit in one more Style Boutique outfit before the end of the month! I wasn't able to post much on the blog this month as it's a busy time where I work so I have less time for computer stuff. I did make up this gorgeous outfit for a last minute look! It's a mix between feminine and psychedelic as I feel sometimes when I look at it, it feels very Retrobeat and then when I see the boots and necklace, I think Chorale. It is fun to mix up brands that don't usually go together!

My favourite aspect of this outfit is the hairstyle which is one I've been loving in real life! I started wearing this style about a month ago and it's very comfortable to work in. I have bangs similar to these, but get annoyed with the longer parts of my hair when I'm working. So pulling the hair back into a hair tie keeps it out of the way and I can still have the rest of my hair down. I've also been obsessed with butterfly hairclips and I use those with this hairstyle. I wish I had never thrown my old clips out from the early 2000's as I had some beautiful colours you can't get anymore. Pretty sure they may have been broken anyway.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou Clothing Items

It is finally time to post some content about my favourite clothing brand in the Style Boutique series - Marzipan Sky! Well it's actually about the Japanese version of the brand which is called ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou. This post will look at the brand's pages from the ガールズモード 3 キラキラ☆コーデ  book (Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination in English) and there is quite a lot of them! ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou's main style is the girly style and the brand's representative is absolutely adorable.

ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou is one of the largest brands in Style Boutique and the top selection alone has over 300 items! The brand not only features the girly style, it is also home to styles such as lively, basic, psychedelic, boho, baby-doll, bold, feminine and preppy. I think ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou is one of the biggest brands in the series because this style of clothing is rather popular in Japan and translate well over to a Western audience. All the items are fashionable and come in a variety of colours and patterns. It would take ages to figure out all the combinations you could make. I know myself that I haven't used every item to brand has just yet and I've made hundreds of outfits over the years! Compared to the last few brands I've posted from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book, ラ・シュシュ La Chou Chou has a large number of pages in the book. Take a look at the lovely selection of items from the brand!

Outfit Of The Day - Flower Power

Are you in the mood for some Style Boutique content? Well if you are, you've come to the right place! I've got this beautiful outfit to share in my latest Outfit Of The Day post and I really loved how this turned out after looking at this snapshots. I wanted to go for a eastern inspired look as I felt I hadn't made one in a while and put together this floral look. Well the top is floral and everything else is just navy to match. The look I was going for was a eastern style that I hadn't really done before so I thought about adding this hat into the mix as it belongs to a different style. It really brought the outfit together as did the choker which gives to outfit a more girly or 2000's feel. The flower shop seemed like the logical location for the photo shoot and it turned out perfect! Don't forget to check out all my other Outfit Of The Day posts here!

Animal Crossing New Horizons Play Journal - Winter Fireworks

Animal Crossing New Horizons recently had a massive update and so much content was added into the game! I've been playing it a lot and have barely scratched the surface of the new features. Whilst I'm enjoying the new update, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to continue on with my New Horizons play journals. These are old photos from 2020 so they don't contain any content from the new update. First up we have adorable Marshal hanging out by his house which I have placed near this little pond. It's like his own private oasis!

Next up is Marshal again and this time isn't as nice as I caught him in a pitfall seed. Unfortunately he just happened to be the nearest villager to me when I wanted to try the recipe out and he was the poor victim. I used to love trapping villagers in New Leaf in pitfall seeds as it had some great animations. I should really make more and set traps in the annoying places my villagers hang out in to teach them a lesson for sitting in annoying spots I can never find them.

A moment of silence for Mira's house as it just makes me so sad. It doesn't match her character at all and what on earth is it even? Like the dinosaur show is a cute idea but imagine having this as your house. She doesn't even have a bed :(

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - ソイミルク SOYMILK Clothing Items

Lots of Style Boutique posts lately on the blog and today's post is another one! I shall share some more pages from the ガールズモード 3 キラキラ☆コーデ  book (Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination in English). The brand for the spotlight is ソイミルク SOYMILK which is known as Soy in the western versions of the series. This brand is home to the boho-chic style and features a wealth of stunning pieces in a variety of gorgeous colours and prints. I think the name SOYMILK is rather cute and reminds me of food. I guess they wanted a more serious tone in the other regions, so it got shortened to Soy.

Is the boho-chic style one that you use often? I feel it is the least used style in the game for me as I just don't use it in many outfits or have go-to items within the style. SOYMILK is home to a number of other images such as eastern, girly, psychedelic and bold. I can totally see how this brand matches those styles as it is quite close design wise with patterns and prints. Many items are truly boho-chic as that style itself is rather unique. The giant outer jackets match the brand well and SOYMLIK has some interesting designs for the jackets. Personally the pants and skirts are my favourite items from the brand and the ones I tend to use the most. Some of the pants have such distinctive patterns and colours to them. Whilst SOYMILK isn't the largest clothing brand in the game, it does have a variety of items to use in outfits. The range of accessories alone is amazing and add a special touch to any boho-chic outfit.

Shopdo Update - November 2021

I wasn't sure what to do for this month's Shopdo Update as I didn't have any outfits in mind. So I just kind of winged it and made some random looks. I just picked a theme and used the search function to find all the light blue coloured items under that theme. The boutique still has the beautiful blue interior as I decided to keep it since it is still spring season.

The first outfit is a simple feminine inspired look and is the perfect casual look for a warmer spring day. I liked how classy the outfit looks yet could be something you just wear out to the shops. I mean the pandemic has turned dressing up just to go to the shops into a novelty as we don't go out much. The next outfit is a lively look as I felt like doing one of those and this look felt very Fashion Forward inspired to me. I remember making outfits with these overalls for lively looks and who could forget the chocolate bar purse? The final outfit is a crazy bold themed outfit I made in like 30 seconds. It truly is something and it reminds me of the glam/flirty style which must be the uggboots and leopard print. I don't hate it but it wouldn't be something I'd make on purpose. It's fun to make these random looks every now and then.

You can find all these outfits at my Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).
