Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - mezzo flute

A short blog post today as this brand from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book only contains a few pages. If you are a fan of the game, you could probably guess from that description that it is one of the handbag brands. And that would be correct as it is mezzo flute which is also known as Chorale Prelude in Style Boutique and Style Savvy. The brand is home to a selection of beautiful bags and is one that I use quite often.

The main image of mezzo flute is feminine as it is the sister brand to flute f/Chorale. Besides the feminine style, it also features items that fit within the basic, girly, baby-doll, chic and preppy styles. I tend to use it mostly in feminine and girly outfits. Occasionally chic or preppy if the item matches the overall feel of an outfit. mezzo flute is a great brand as the bags come in a variety of sizes and you can always find something to match an outfit. The purses are one that gets used quite often in feminine outfits as it is an easy accessory to add in.

Shopdo Update - September 2021

Updated my Shopdo after what seems like an eternity! These outfits will be up for all of September along with the blue boutique theme. For the update, I wanted to go with something that felt like Spring even though the weather is still cold here. Been absolutely freezing lately and lots of rain! I decided to have a blue coloured theme for this update and went with some fresh looking outfits. 

First up is Blue Spring which is inspired by the type of outfit I'd love to wear if the weather was warm. I've always been a big fan of this skirt from Marzipan Sky so I went with it as main piece. The look is a fun youthful outfit perfect for a day out! The second outfit is a more feminine inspired outfit and I tried to use items I rarely use. Are these types of jeans back in fashion now? I feel everyone talks about them coming back and I'm dreading it. Had enough of them back in the 2000's! The outfit is a casual look ideal for shopping in an outdoor shopping area or on a spring date. The final outfit is a lively look using some items from April Bonbon that I've never really used. I picked out the shorts first and then I discovered this camisole matched them perfectly. I wonder if I've just missed this combination all these years.

Shopdo Update - March 2020

Finally got the Shopdo Update up for March, I had just completely forgotten about it until recently as I didn't realise it was March. So I'm sorry for the late upload of the new outfits :( I've stuck with the same interior as last month as I'm not really feeling inspired to make a new one nor have any ideas for a new layout. I decided to go with colour themed outfits this month for something different. First up is a beige themed outfit as hype for the Colour Collection post I will be posting soon featuring that very colour. I quite like the beige toned items in Style Boutique and I went for a feminine/chic look for this outfit. I tried to use some items I rarely use such as these pants and inner. Next up is a girly look because I'm boring haha. Nah I really like making girly outfits in the game and there is just so many items under that theme that it would take ages to try them all out! Last look is another feminine inspired look and I tried to go for a coffee brown tone for this one. I always use these dresses from Chorale as they are well designed and look great in all the colours. Shopdo Update

First of all, apologies for the late Shopdo Update as I was sick yesterday and wasn't able to post the update. So the first thing I've done after getting home after work is to post the update and here it is! I have another round of costumes for Halloween and all of this weeks outfits are vampire theme. The inspiration was that I really want to try out one of the Sims 4 bundle packs that has the vampires pack in it, I thought that would be a fun one as supernatural creatures have always been interesting in the game. The first vampire outfit is an elegant feminine inspired look and whilst I was originally going to go with a chic look, I thought the Chorale might be a bit more suitable and looks like an everyday outfit one might wear. The second outfit titled Moon Vampire is inspired by Purple Moon items. I finally found a use for these tacky dresses from the brand that I just never use and I paired it with some items from other Purple Moon sets. The final outfit is a cute Baby-Doll inspired vampire coordinate. It's kinda a mixture between gothic and baby-doll but I wanted it to have a more cute feel to it than dark. 100 Outfit Challenge Day 98: Glam/Flirty

You all knew it was coming so here is my glam/flirty themed outfit! It's the final style of the challenge and my personal favourite to create in my challenges. It's fun to find the old Miss Ribbon items within the current brands and piece them together. I do have a guide book now that contains all the original items within the glam brand so it's easier to figure them out. I will be posting a glam guide thing later on that details each item from the brand. Anyway please enjoy my lovely lilac glam outfit! I'm sure I've posted a similar outfit to this previously as the glam items tend to cycle around after a while because there is only so many of them.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 94: Mismatched

Now I've done a mismatch outfit previously in my 30 Day Outfit Challenge and the result was an interesting one. And it seems this time my mismatched outfit turned out kinda similar. I decided to narrow my choices to random girly themed items to see if the outfit would make some cohesive sense. I ended up randomly select the same style of bolero which was interesting considering how many outers are in the section. The rest of the outfit is kinda meh and just looks like you got dressed in the dark. It could look better without the bow and bolero which I added because I wanted a number of items in the outfit. Maybe I'll have more luck next time with my randomised outfit.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 93: Least Favourite Item

Today marks the first of October and the final month of the 100 Outfit Challenge. I went with another clothing themed prompt for today as I wanted to get outside my comfortable zone and try using an item I always avoid. We all know that item in Style Boutique that we never use because we either dispose it, can never work it into outfits or just don't understand the design of it. For me, my least favourite item would be these low neckline jumpers which are available from a variety of brands. I just don't get them and I'm not a huge fan of low necklines in jumpers. For my outfit, I choose to work with a pink spotted jumper as I love the colour and the pattern is cute. It was pretty easy from them and I made this girly styled look. I actually quite enjoy this and I like how you can see the detail on the inner with the low neckline.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 74: Yellow

Boy this yellow background is super bright! Another colour outfit for today's outfit and I've gone with a pastel yellow feminine/girly look. All items in this outfit are ones that I'm quite fond of and I adore the pastel yellow tones. Honestly I never wear maxi style dresses in real life but love using this in Styling Star. I think the pastel toned ones from Marzipan Sky and Chorale are the best ones as they look the most stylish and well designed to not look like a sack. 100 Outfit Challenge Day 26: Favourite Brand

If I had to pick one brand in the Style Boutique series that is my all time favourite brand, I'd have to go with Marzipan Sky. I feel this brand is the closest to my style in real life and items that I love the look of. Plus it's one of the largest brands in the game and has a wealth of items to choose from. For this outfit, I tried to pick items from Marzipan Sky that are ones I use often. These items have been favourites of mine for a few games now and I always go back to them when I need a staple outfit.

Shopdo Update

I thought I'd try out a theme for this week's Shopdo Update which is that all the outfits feature the same handbag. When I made the first outfit, I quite liked how the handbag looked so I decided to try out the other colours of the bag with the other two outfits. All the outfits for this week are based around colours starting off with purple. I have to say that this shade of purple is my favourite in the game and I just can't get enough of it. Next up is a feminine outfit inspired by the colour blue. I tried to use some items I haven't used much so that's how I came to this skirt. I've never used them much which I think it because of the pattern isn't really my taste. The last outfit is a girly outfit in pink tones because I love pink! Shopdo Update

Since June is still here for this weekend, I decided to keep the pink themed boutique for another update. I'll switch it up to a new theme next week with some new outfits! Now onto this week's looks which are all pink ones once again. The first is a lovely feminine themed outfit featuring items from Chorale and Chorale Prelude. These peplum style tops from the brand are one of my favourite new items that were added in Styling Star. I have tops like this in real life and they are quite nice to wear especially for formal things. Second outfit is a psychedelic and girly mix-up as I've really been into these styles lately. Originally I planned to do just a straight psychedelic themed outfit but couldn't find the right shoes to match this dress. So I brought in some girly ones along with a necklace to complete the look. The last outfit is a cute bright pink lively outfit to match the pink theme. Not the usual pastel or dusty pink tones I've been going for with this boutique look, but it felt cute so I kept it as an outfit. Another week of pink outfits for this week's Shopdo Update! First off is a psychedelic outfit which features my favourite skirt from the Retrobeat brand. I've also been really into these hats from the brand as well lately and been using them in a lot of retro looks. Super happy at how this psychedelic look turned out especially with the magenta shades in the outfit. Next up is an eastern outfit because I don't think I've done one in ages. I went with the simplistic gold fish dress from Kanokoi as I love the design and the pink tones can be found in matching accessories. Lastly we have a girly outfit because I always do one haha. I tried to use some items I don't use much so that included the camisole, bag and shorts. The items do look super cute together and I think it worked out well. Shopdo Update

Starting off this week's Shopdo update with a stylish Chic styled outfit! I tried to give the outfit a preppy feel to it but still show off the sophistication of the Enid Chen brand. The second outfit is a preppy look of course to match the boutique interior. I've had a lot of fun the last few weeks designing preppy styled outfits as it's a style I love in real life but I'm more into the girly image in the Style Boutique series. No clue on what the new theme will be of my boutique next week, might have to take a look at the miniatures available for some inspiration. The last outfit for this week is a feminine outfit as those have been popular as of late on my Shopdo. When it comes to the feminine style, I'm always drawn towards purple toned outfits. The weekly Shopdo update is here and I have another round of school inspired looks. First off is a casual girly look which is perfect for the autumn school holidays. This outfit is perfect for the kind of weather we've been having lately where it's kinda cool but you can still get away with long pants. Next is a feminine outfit that is more suitable for teachers and features gorgeous gold and brown tones. I quite like this outfit and felt the pieces worked well together. Lastly is a preppy outfit of course and I went with another casual look with this t-shirt style dress. Shopdo Update - New Preppy Boutique Interior

Decided to switch out the sweet themed boutique for a new style this week. Thought I'd go with preppy for something new and whilst it isn't my favourite interior style due to lack of matching items, I do love making preppy outfits. First off is a girly outfit styled around the preppy look and features items from a few brands (mainly Marzipan Sky). I used the same dress/tunic my character has on as I quite like this simple style of dress and it comes in various colours. The second outfit is a preppy outfit from the main preppy brand Brooke Bridge. Oh how I love navy and red together as it reminds me of the nautical style which I'm a huge fan of. The third outfit is another preppy look but a bit more unique. I just threw some stuff together and tried to work with blue and pink. Looks crazy but is still cute. The boutique has a preppy feel to it this week and it put this together rather quickly. I never really used this style as I cannot find the perfect items for it. Drives me nuts how I couldn't match the timber on the counter perfectly to the other items in the room. I'm a huge fan of the book miniatures, they're so adorable and I need to use them more!

Here is this week's Shopdo Update and the sweet themed boutique is back for another week. With the first outfit, I was feeling a bit green so I made this girly ensemble. It's not perfect but I like the tones in the jacket and skirt. Next is a baby-doll look because why not! I went with one of the bear themed coordinates in the red/dark pink tones as I thought that reminded me of candy. Lastly is a pink feminine outfit that is pretty casual. After last weeks bizarre line incident, I'm proud to announce this weeks outfits feature the extra lines haha. Sticking with the feminine theme another week because I've been so in love with it. The first outfit is a girly look in neutral brown tones and I couldn't resist using a cute boater as I've been super into them lately. I'm also trying to use more items from the top section so that's where I found this sweater top. The second outfit is a chic themed outfit as last weeks chic outfit was quite popular. I usually don't do chic outfits often on Shopdo because of the price but I had fun creating this weeks chic look. Enid Chen has some lovely matching items if you search for them. The third and final outfit is a feminine outfit to match the boutique and the outfit features a grey colour scheme. Shopdo Update

You may notice something weird about one of this week's Shopdo Update outfits, it pretty obvious. It seems there is a black line running through the photo which is a glitch I've encountered before back in August last year. Whenever I selected the second outfit after I created it, it would bring up this line. I tried saving and reloading Shopdo but it kept appearing. A bit bizarre but we'll carry on. 

The first outfit for this week's Shopdo update is a chic style outfit featuring silver and grey tones. Hence the name Silver Streak. The second outfit is a girly style outfit featuring items from the Chorale and Chorale Prelude brands. I quite like this look as it's sophisticated yet still girly. Perfect for spring or autumn weather. The final outfit is a feminine look to match the boutique interior and I went with a green colour palette for this look. I'm really into plaid skirts at the moment in the Style Boutique series so used one of them in this outfit.
