Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - アップビート Upbeat

It has been a long journey however we are finally here today with the final clothing brand from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book. The last brand to be posted is アップビート Upbeat and this has been a highly requested one. Many years ago, I posted a Streetflow/Upbeat Guide that contained selected images from the brand but not all the items were included in that blog post. So to finish off this series, here is the pages from the book focusing on the sporty brand Upbeat!

Upbeat is the go-to brand for sporty themed clothes and accessories. It is also known as Streetflow in the Style Boutique/Style Savvy games and sadly the style was removed after Girls Mode 3. The brand and the sport image were not available in Girls Mode 4 (Styling Star in NA/AUS/EUR). At the time when the brand was in the game, I wasn't the biggest fan of the style but grew to love it years later. Sad that it was removed as I feel the sporty image has made a big comeback in recent years and wearing sport clothes on a daily basis is super popular here in Australia.

The brand isn't just focused on the sporty style and features items that fit within other images. These include lively, basic, girly, psychedelic, bold and preppy. I tend to combine sporty with lively quite often as the look of the items can be quite similar and have good colour palettes. If I had to pick an item type that I use the most from Upbeat, it would be pants. I feel like they work well with most sport themed outfits and are easy to combine with things such as an outer. The sneakers are another great item from the brand and I often use those when the colours match an outfit I have in mind.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - ファンタニア Fantania

All the photos of the brands in the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book have finally been taken and I can work towards finishing off this series. There are only two more to post from the womens clothing brands and today's post will look at the costume brand ファンタニア Fantania. The brand is known as Purple Moon in Style Boutique and Style Savvy however I find Fantania a rather whimsical name. It reminds me of the word fantasy and the idea of dressing up.

ファンタニア Fantania is the brand to head if you want clothing items that are for dressing up or taking on a new persona. The brand is famous for its costume pieces and matching sets. And it is also famous for it's steep price range with basically every item costing a small fortune. ファンタニア Fantania is home to a variety of images but I feel that is matches the lively image the most. You can find all the amiibo items under this brand once you scan them into the game which makes sense because they are literally cosplay items.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - HELGA

It has been forever since I posted content from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book and my dearest apologies for the delay. The reason was that I lost all the images I had left to post when I switched to a new internal hard drive on my computer. They were the one folder that didn't get copied over along with some other Style Boutique stuff. I've been trying to get them back but I've been hitting delays with my tech help. Ended up just taking new photos of the pages so I could get back on track with posting. The brand that I will be showcasing today is HELGA which is the Japanese name for Enid Chen. This brand is known for being the classy high profile and high priced tagged clothing brand in the game.

HELGA is the home of chic style in the Girls Mode game series and all the items in this brand are pretty expensive. I rarely used them in outfits for customers and also rarely in my own outfits. The main time I would use the brand would be for challenges or photoshoots. I wouldn't rank HELGA/Enid Chen as a top favourite in the series however I do believe that Styling Star elevated the brand with a lovely selection of new items.

The brand also focuses on other styles besides chic such as psychedelic, boho, gothic, bold, rock, feminine and preppy. I will sometimes use items from HELGA in bold or psychedelic looks as the bold prints match well with those images. HELGA has a sister brand that focuses on handbags called YLVA which you can find the brand images for here!

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - mezzo flute

A short blog post today as this brand from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book only contains a few pages. If you are a fan of the game, you could probably guess from that description that it is one of the handbag brands. And that would be correct as it is mezzo flute which is also known as Chorale Prelude in Style Boutique and Style Savvy. The brand is home to a selection of beautiful bags and is one that I use quite often.

The main image of mezzo flute is feminine as it is the sister brand to flute f/Chorale. Besides the feminine style, it also features items that fit within the basic, girly, baby-doll, chic and preppy styles. I tend to use it mostly in feminine and girly outfits. Occasionally chic or preppy if the item matches the overall feel of an outfit. mezzo flute is a great brand as the bags come in a variety of sizes and you can always find something to match an outfit. The purses are one that gets used quite often in feminine outfits as it is an easy accessory to add in.

ぴこぷり Pikopuri January - March 2016 Magazine - ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3

The other week I was tidying up my bookshelf and came across my ぴこぷり Pikopuri magazines. I knew I had posted some of the issues on the blog previously and noticed that this issue had no yet made it onto here. So I took some photos of the ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3 pages as they are too adorable to not share. This issue the January - March 2016 and came with a cute Animal Crossing lunch bag. It is themed around Amiibo Festival and it is a great item to carry your lunch to work in. I've been using it quite often this year and you can fit a number of things in it. Plus I like how it folds down once empty so I can easily chuck it in my backpack.

Onto the Girls Mode 3 content now and this issue features six pages of Girls Mode information. The first two pages have some cute preppy and lively themed outfits. The preppy one is right up my alley and I feel like wearing something like this currently as the weather is perfect for this. All these looks are giving winter vibes which makes sense as this issue was released during January which would've been winter in Japan. This issue features the little Girls Mode themed comic stripes like other ぴこぷり Pikopuri magazines and this first one reminds me of when I force customers at the boutique to buy as many layers of clothing as possible.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - YLVA

Quite a short Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book post today as this brand only features three pages. With something that short, it just had to be one of the hand bag brands which is YLVA. This brand is known as ARIANNA in the NA and PAL versions of the game and honestly I prefer the Japanese name. It feels more like a bag brand name to me as most handbag companies have shortened or one word names. We have a popular one called Mimco over here which was the key piece for private school girls outfit years ago and I've even seen the bag shop Strandbags calling themselves Strand. I think they've actually changed their name since the last time I went in there a few months ago. Anyway YLVA is quite a elegant name for a elegant brand wouldn't you agree?

If you are creating a chic looking outfit, then YLVA is the brand for you. It is home to a large amount of chic themed bags and has 182 items to collect. YLVA also falls under the images of basic, bold and feminine. I always find it amusing when I'm trying to create an afforable basic themed outfit and the game is like 'yeah chuck this $300 bag in'. Customers are never pleased with that and it is probably best to stick to bags from Basic U. I quite like this brand as there are a variety of bag designs to choose from and you aren't limited to one style. Personally myself, I tend to use the purses the most and they always match any outfit.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - flute f

A request came through from a reader of the blog for another Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book post who was after the items from the brand Chorale. This lovely request made it super easy to decide on the next set of photos to post from the book! In Girls Mode 3, the brand Chorale is called flute f which is a perfectly elegantly sounding name to match the feminine brand of the series. I absolutely adore the outfit that brand representative Aisling has one in the photo below. It encapsulates what flute f represents and the colours tones are gorgeous.

flute f is home to a variety of styles that are not just feminine. Of course we have the girly style which I personally feel can be quite similar to the feminine one. Sometimes I even get the items mixed up or make outfits that I look back on and wonder whether it is girly or feminine. The other styles that are found at flute f are basic, psychedelic, gothic, baby-doll, chic and preppy. flute f is a brand that I came to love the more I played the game and feel that I've used it quite a lot in the latest instalment in the series. Looking at these photos of the items showcases how the brand jumps from beautiful pastel tones to sophisticated dark tones. I feel with this brand that I can always piece together a stylish looking outfit and it is a great brand to mix with other ones such as Marzipan Sky, Enid Chen or Brooke Bridge.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - Baker Bridge

Recently I was going through some books in my bookcase and then spent an hour reading through old game guides. It has been a while since I last posted content from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book so that was the inspiration for today's post. Took some photos of all the lovely items from the Baker Bridge brand! This brand is also known as Brooke Bridge in the Style Boutique and Style Savvy games. No idea which names I prefer as they both fit the preppy image of the brand and Baker kind of reminds me of Sherlock Holmes for obvious reasons. Maybe that is why it is called that as it links to the detective style of some of the items.

The main image of Baker Bridge is preppy of course which you can easily see by taking one look at all the items. This brand just screams uniforms and prints! The brand is contains items that fall under girly, gothic, bold, feminine and rock. Throughout the course of the Style Boutique series, I feel like this brand has always been a favourite for me as I love the preppy style in real life. The items are excellently designed and I enjoy trying to put together a stylish outfit with multiple items. Considering how many Brooke Bridge outfits I have made, it feels like there are hundreds more I could do! When I was reading my old Style Boutique magazines, there was lots of beautiful preppy themed outfits that I would've never thought of.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - AZ-USA

When you look at the brand AZ-USA from the Style Boutique games, you realise how many items the brand is home to. I was going through the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book and this brand has stacks of pages dedicated to it. Crazy to see all the different items the brand has available and so many outfits you could create from them. AZ-USA was always a brand I kind of ignore in the past, however I have enjoyed experimenting with the brand whilst playing Styling Star. I feel it really picked up in the new game and the challenges I've done over the years have helped discover some gems.

The main style of AZ-USA is the bold style of course and it can also be referred to as the cool style. I tend to call it that a lot and even considered it was the official image for a while. The brand also features items from the following styles: lively, girly, retro, boho, gothic, sporty, rock, chic, feminine and preppy. Streetflow was still in Girls Mode 3 so AZ-USA doesn't have any items from that brand in this game as they moved over in the next instalment. Items from Miss Ribbon however were available at AZ-USA as the glam/flirty style was sadly removed. When looking at the brand, I feel I tend to use tight fitted items from it the most and it tends to be cropped or printed with some sort of pattern. The glam/flirty inspired items are my favourite and I feel I use those in most bold/cool outfits.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Cute Sewing Room

Another month, another Caprice Chalet room update! For the month of December I've gone with this cute sewing room. I've been missing sewing in real life as I haven't had the chance to do much lately due to power outages and work commitments over the busy period. Looking forward to getting back into it in 2023! This room inspires me to start some fun new projects! I designed it years ago and thought it would be nice to upload online. It isn't too fancy with the item placements as I couldn't find items that matched perfectly. Say for example the shelves at the back are a different style to the desk. At least all the clothing items are pretty and I wish my projects looked that amazing! I've made a few baby-doll styled dresses myself and I feel there it always room for improvement. I wear them nowadays to work as it is fun to get all dressed up sometimes.

You can find this creative room at room address 180-239-9851 in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Animal Crossing

Yesterday I updated my Shopdo after nearly a year and today it is time to update my Caprice Chalet room in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward. Soooo it seems that I haven't updated my room in the game since March 2020 and wow that seems like a billion years ago. I really want to get back into updating both my Shopdo and Caprice Chalet room address each month, kind of like a new years resolution.

So for my exciting room for the update I went with an Animal Crossing themed space. Nothing too fancy and I wanted to start off easy after not playing the game after so long. The main inspiration for this room was actually from a comment on my old Fashion Forward blog. A commenter was asking if anyone had these Animal Crossing DLC items in a room available for download so that they could purchase them. I thought why not just fill a room with them and let the player know. The items are quite cute and the photocopier is honestly my favourite. It's just so boring and plain compared to the flashy Style Boutique game.

You can find this adorable room at room address 180-239-9851 in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - Marble Lily

We have finally reached the time when I review the Marble Lily pages of the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book! I feel like I should've done this brand ages ago as it seems to be one the most popular ones in the game series. I personally quite like Marble Lily for the gorgeous dresses and cute shirts that match well with other styles in the game. The brand has the same name in Japanese and I've always felt it reminds me of the EGL brand Angelic Pretty. Japanese EGL culture is quite fascinating and the outfits are beautiful. So I can see how this brand is influenced by that fashion style.

The main style of the Marble Lily brand is the Baby-Doll style of course which as I mentioned is very similar to the EGL fashion style in real life. It also features items that fit within other styles such as lively, girly, gothic, feminine and preppy.  In New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward, Marble Lily become home to a few items from the defunct Miss Ribbon brand. These are the faux fur coat with bow, bell sleeve bolero, straw bag with rose, heart knee sock and lacy sandals with bow. These fit quite nicely within the brand and I've used these in a number of outfits over the years. The main draw card of the brand is the wide range of dresses as the brand has an amazing selection of them in a range of colours, patterns and prints. I made a guide detailing all the Marble Lily dresses in Fashion Forward and you can check that one out here! Do you have a favourite item from the brand? I personally love the shirts as they fit well under a range of items and peter pan collars are one of my favourite styles.

ぴこぷり Pikopuri April - June 2016 Magazine - ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3

Recently I was in a Newsagency and was amazed at all the magazines still being printed. Back when I was a teenager, I remember always bugging my parents to get me the latest issue of Smash Hits or I'd save up for the Total Girl showbag at the Show. Crazy to think that's how we used to get all our information and dodgy ringtones off the back page for ridiculous amounts of money. So I thought I'd take a look at another ぴこぷり Pikopuri from my collection and this issue is the April to June 2016 one.

This issue is packed with content and I remember buying it for the K.K. Slider amiibo card. I still have him in my amiibo collection and it's quite a cool looking card! You also got a cute amiibo folder that features Animal Crossing on both sides. It holds a fair amount of amiibo cards but definitely not enough if you have a decent collection. My collection isn't even big and it won't all fit in there! There was the usual sticker sheet as well that ぴこぷり Pikopuri issues have and I love these stickers so much that I'm scared to use them :( I really should start using them but I just don't have anything special enough for them even though I have like 5 journals.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - Stray Cat Clothing Items

Quick question to start off another Style Boutique post! Do you prefer the name Stage Dive or Stray Cat for this brand? I always thought both worked well for the rock image however Stray Cat sounds cooler to me. The post for today we will be looking at more pages from the ガールズモード 3 キラキラ☆コーデ  book which focus on the rock brand Stray Cat. This brand is also called Stage Dive in Style Boutique and Style Savvy.

As mentioned, the main style of this brand is the rocker image! Think lots of check, music style tees, flares and chains. Rock isn't the only image you will find at Stray Cat as it also features pieces from the lively, psychedelic, gothic, bold, chic and preppy images. The first few like psychedelic and gothic make perfect sense. Sometimes I even get items confused after I've taken photos of outfits and I'm trying to remember what the style was. Stray Cat does have some bizarre items I rarely use like those pants with the skirt attached. I just don't like that look and I don't recall I've used them much in the game. Everyone probably has items like that in the series that they rarely use or even forgot existed!

ぴこぷり Pikopuri January - March 2017 Magazine - ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3

A few years back, I wrote a blog post covering the ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3 content in the Japanese magazine ぴこぷり Pikopuri. I was recently sorting through my bookshelf and was reading my ぴこぷり Pikopuri issues and thought it was a great time to post some more Pikopuri Girls Mode content! This time I'll be showcasing the January - March 2017 issue which features a cute Isabelle on the cover. There was a fun bonus with this issue which was a guide to NPC's in Animal Crossing New Leaf and I actually use this one a bit!

Onto the ガールズモード 3 Girls Mode 3 photos now and this issue only features four pages of the game. The game had been out for a long time and wasn't as popular to be featured as a key title in the magazine. It wasn't even featured on the front cover and with that, I knew there wouldn't be too much stuff in it. I actually brought this for the Animal Crossing book and the Girls Mode stuff was a nice bonus.

I always love admiring these pages as I adore how they layout all the items and match them to illustrations. It always reminds me of old KERA or Japanese fashion magazines. Everything catches your eye! Nice to see how the editors of the magazine styled the items and some I would've never thought of. The ガールズモード 3 section always features a little comic featuring various characters from the series and this issue features two different stories with one about Sophie. Awww she is the cutest and I miss her in Styling Star.

New Style Boutique - Recreating Fashion Show Outfits

Back in January I posted a play journal featuring various fashion show outfits from New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward. Well I was sitting around recently and thought it would be a cool idea to try to recreate those looks in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star! It actually was super easy to find the items and there was only a few parts I got stuck on. All of these were five star winning outfits in the fashion show so it will be interesting to see how that look translates to the visual style of Styling Star.

For each outfit, I've included a screenshot of the original outfit for reference. My screenshots from Fashion Forward are like the worst quality and what on earth was I doing to them back in the day. Or where they just that bad? I remember I used to try to edit them in photoshop but nowadays they just look blurry to me. And I just got new glasses so I'm definitely not going blind. The quality of taking photos in the game improved drastically between the two games except for the fact you can only delete 15 photos at a time. I hate that as it takes me forever to clear out my album.

Starting off with what the game refers to as a cute look and I'm more inclined to call it girly than cute. Super simple to recreate and the only part I had trouble with was the hair colour. I couldn't get this beautiful ice blonde colour and went with a standard blonde instead. The theme description is a bit off as it describes a cute princess which I would think is more Marble Lily style than Marzipan Sky. This outfit is definitely cute but I wouldn't say princess style.
