Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - Stray Cat Clothing Items

Quick question to start off another Style Boutique post! Do you prefer the name Stage Dive or Stray Cat for this brand? I always thought both worked well for the rock image however Stray Cat sounds cooler to me. The post for today we will be looking at more pages from the ガールズモード 3 キラキラ☆コーデ  book which focus on the rock brand Stray Cat. This brand is also called Stage Dive in Style Boutique and Style Savvy.

As mentioned, the main style of this brand is the rocker image! Think lots of check, music style tees, flares and chains. Rock isn't the only image you will find at Stray Cat as it also features pieces from the lively, psychedelic, gothic, bold, chic and preppy images. The first few like psychedelic and gothic make perfect sense. Sometimes I even get items confused after I've taken photos of outfits and I'm trying to remember what the style was. Stray Cat does have some bizarre items I rarely use like those pants with the skirt attached. I just don't like that look and I don't recall I've used them much in the game. Everyone probably has items like that in the series that they rarely use or even forgot existed!

One Item Challenge - Stage Dive

It has been forever since I last posted a Style Boutique post. This one took a while to get up as Blogger has moved to a new format and it took me ages to figure out how to upload photos. Still can't work it out properly just yet but I managed to get all the photos for this One Item Challenge up! This time it's a challenge for the brand Stage Dive and I decided to use one of my top items from the brand which is one of the new Big Check Jacket. Huge fan of this peplum style jacket and I've got a few in real life now! I tried to use an item that would look nice with other styles since the rock image is the opposite of some styles in the game such as girly or boho-chic. 

First off here is the rock themed outfit featuring the  jacket with other Stage Dive branded items. Purple is one of the nicer colours the brand uses in my opinion and there a some great items that match it perfectly. I went with one of the stage themed photo locations for the photoshoot as it's the ideal spot for the Stage Dive brand!

There are a few favourites from this One Item Challenge and my top picks would be gothic, sporty and basic. I quite liked the gothic outfit as it looked rather well put together and the jacket matches well with gothic themed items. Haven't used this skirt or inner for age (or even ever!) so it was nice to try something new and I didn't want to do the pannier skirt look as I've done that enough with gothic outfits. The sporty and basic outfits were a favourite as I liked how simple they looked and the shoes turned out super cute. The jacket brings a pop of pattern to the outfit and you can't go wrong with a bit of purple in an outfit. Honorable mention to the craziness of the psychedelic outfit! I love it and it's just all over the place but still stylish.

Shopdo Update

Another Shopdo Update and another week of rock themed outfits! The first outfit for this week is this crazy rock style outfit featuring these bizarre pants from Stage Dive. Do people really use these? I never do because they are so strange. Thought I'd try them out for a change and paired them with some other fluro items. The second outfit is a stylish preppy look with a rock feel. It's more of a fashion model rock look than performance outfit and I quite like it. The tones of grey worked well together and looks rather stylish. Final outfit is a gothic coordinate with a rock feel. I really wanted to use this jacket from Raven Candle as it felt perfect for the style and it worked well. Shopdo Update

Straight into this week's Shopdo Update with a Chic outfit with a rock theme. I titled this one paparazzi as I thought it was quite appropriate for this superstar look. Second is a rock outfit in some bright purple tones which I honestly think Stage Dive has some great purple items that always look good. The final outfit is a lively themed outfit that leans a little towards the rock style. I went with red and black as April Bonbon has some excellent pieces in these colours. It's cute yet edgy! Shopdo Update

Had some fun creating rock inspired outfits for this week's Shopdo Update. First off is a girly styled outfit with a rock feel. It's more girly than rock but still a little edgy with the stripes and denim skirt. Second outfit is a glam/flirty look because I love creating those. I used these crazy boots from AZ-USA for the outfit because I thought they were perfect for it. Last outfit is a rock one of course and I went with these weird skirt/pant things from Stage Dive that I never understand. I've never really used these in any games as they are so bizarre and look rather cluttered to me. So I went for a hot pink look as that's one of my favourite colour tones to use in rock outfits. Shopdo Update - Rock Interior

Finally a new interior for my Shopdo is up this week! I remembered to change it as it's been a few weeks since the last boutique update. This time I've gone with a rock look as I feel it's been a while since I last did this style. The first outfit for this week's update is a rock look of course! Went with a pink, white and black themed outfit as I quite like the pink toned items from Stage Dive. Next is a psychedelic look as that style is kinda similar to rock. More like an elegant version with a hint of far out. Last but not least is a casual rock outfit because I feel I don't make enough rock outfits and needed an excuse. 100 Outfit Challenge Day 24: Uniform

For this theme, I went with a broad uniform idea such as school uniform or work uniform. Not everyone is in the workforce yet or even have a school uniform. I decided to not make the usual preppy image outfit from Brooke Bridge and recreate the outfit I wear for work. My job is in logistics and I don't have a official uniform besides steel cap boots. So I tend to wear pretty casual attire that I don't care about getting dirty because my job is not glamorous at all, like you touch one thing and you're instantly dirty. Accidentally cut my pants up the other day with a knife, so I go through clothes pretty quick. My go-to look for most of the year (apart from summer months) is jeggings, t-shirts and a jacket from Kathmandu to keep warm. Then steel boots of course so I don't destroy my feet and you know WHS laws. It's a pain wearing them because doing 15,000 steps a day in them is annoying but I have these sneaker styles ones which are easier to wear than boot style ones. 

100 Outfit Challenge Day 19: 1980's

I saw a great pin on pinterest the other day regarding the 1980's which said '80's music brings me back to good times like when I wasn't alive'. It's so true because I love 80's music but wasn't even born back then! I feel the music of the 1980's is just amazing and I have so many favourites songs from that time period. So for my 1980's inspired outfit, I went with a rock look as I feel music is the best thing I relate to from then. It's your pretty normal rock themed outfit for me with the usual items I use. I mentioned back in my rock themed outfit a few days ago that I tend to do the same looks for the style as I have items that I know work with the image.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 14: Rock

Another day, another style which is rock this time round! I feel the rock style is pretty basic in the game sometimes, like I know exactly what the expect from it and I always tend to make similar looking outfits. I tried to go outside my normal items of the striped/checked skirts and jackets to this printed black and white ensemble. Usually I just chuck a bunch of items together for rock outfits as you can layer them quite easily and that worked for this outfit. Stage Dive has a great selection of tights and socks so they are always a must for rock themed outfits. Even psychedelic ones sometimes if I'm looking for a certain colour scheme.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 11: Grey

Something new today which is a grey themed outfit which is a colour I have yet to cover in my Colour Outfits Collection. The outfit I created is a mixture of bold, basic and rock. A lot of the outfits I've been making for this challenge, I've just been selecting the items without many search criteria and I think it's really helped create more unique looks. I haven't been restricted to images or anything so I have more options available which has been great. This look is close to something I'd wear in real life apart from the three-quarter sleeves because I despise those. You just can't move in them and shirts always get creased at the elbow. Apart from the sleeves, the outfit is super comfy and a good use of these t-shirt style dresses in the game.

Shopdo Update

As mentioned in the last Shopdo Update, I am now posting my weekly update on Sundays now. It works much easier with my schedule and gives me time to post the update on time rather than almost forgetting it on a Monday night. I've still got the psychedelic interior as I just haven't bothered changing it yet but I've had fun making the outfits for it. The first outfit for this week is a rock outfit since I haven't had one of those for a long time. Kinda a basic looking thing but fits with the psychedelic theme. The second outfit is a psychedelic look of course featuring my favourite outer from Retrobeat. Went with a green and blue scheme this time which is kinda boring compared to the brighter colours. Lastly is a outfit that was featured in one of my challenges way back and I recently remembered from my Scrapbook. Still one of the best outfits I've made in Styling Star. Shopdo Update

Quick update for my new outfits available on Shopdo! The rock interior is still set up in the boutique and the first outfit for this week's update is another rock themed outfit. Went with a crazy purple and yellow mash-up for this outfit. Thought I'd try using these t-shirt style dresses and some tights I rarely use. I titled the outfit Join The Pack as I thought that's what the words make out on the dress. The second outfit is a girly outfit in a grey colour scheme. Used some items I rarely use with this outfit as well such as the socks and handbag. I named it Grey Sky which was inspired by the colour scheme and current cold weather here. The final outfit is a look I've never tried before. At first I was trying to go for a rockabilly look based around the collar shirt from AZ-USA. I wanted to use a hoop skirt from Retrobeat but it was tricky to get a good colour match. The outfit ended up with this blue and orange scheme featuring items from a variety of brands. Shopdo Update - Rock Themed Interior

My boutique has a new interior for this weeks Shopdo update! I thought it was finally time for a rock inspired interior but more on that later on in the post. This weeks outfits are inspired by the new theme. The first one is a rock themed outfit which is a style I rarely have on my Shopdo. Second outfit is a fun psychedelic/rock fusion outfit titled Mismatched. I called it that because of all the crazy patterns I used in the outfit. The final outfit for this week is this amazing bold outfit I've just discovered. I've always used the top and bottom items separately but I just noticed the other day that they match! Now for the new boutique interior! I decided to go with a rock themed interior since I hadn't done one yet in an update. This was actually pretty easy to design as there are some great rock themed items. I kept the layout pretty simple and tried to make it symmetrical in the middle part. My character has a stylish glam/flirty inspired outfit on and my assistant is sporting a new look as well to match the rock interior.

Autumn Lookbook - Rock Style

Next style for the Autumn Lookbook is rock style! I quite like the brand Stage Dive as they have some nice patterned pieces and it's easy to create an entire outfit with a good colour scheme. And who could forget the headphones which are new to the brand in Styling Star? I incorporated a pair of headphones into the rock outfit and used one of the sweatshirt dresses from the brand.
