Today's post will be another collection from the ガールズモード 3 キラキラ☆コーデ book (Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination) in English. This time we will take a look at Double U which is also known as Basic U in the Style Boutique and Style Savvy versions of the game. The main style of Double U is the basic style but it is also home to other styles such as lively, girly, sporty, bold, feminine and preppy. Here is a simple introduction of the brand in the book and features some example outfits you can make with items from Double U.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 85: Under $29
I'm actually surprised at how good this outfit turned out considering the challenge of building an outfit with items under $29. I was worried at first that the outfit would look too basic and just like my basic styled outfits. But it kinda came out in a psychedelic style which is interesting. I tried to use items from a variety of brands and not just Basic U. The final look is quite fashionable and out of the box and I love how the skirt matches the t-shirt print. The only thing I struggled with is the shoes and I went with these to match the psychedelic look of the t-shirt.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 84: Basic
Nice and simple outfit for today as I've gone for a basic outfit. Styling Star is the first game that I've made the most basic outfits in, most due to challenges. But I feel the brand Basic U received some great new items in the game and that encouraged me to use it more. Especially these stunning camisoles as I rarely use those items in previous games. This particular item is my favourite camisole from the brand and I always pair it with items of the same colour tone. So enjoy this lovely casual look to celebrate the basic style!

100 Outfit Challenge Day 59: Disney
I feel with every challenge I do for my blog ends up having a Disney themed day. This time I went with a snow white inspired outfit in the feminine style. I mainly picked items that matched the colour tones in her outfit and went with a pretty casual look. Nothing too fancy and I have to say I'm not overly fond of these cardigans. I think they just look a bit stiff in the game and could do with some cute accessories. If only we had brooches in the game, that would be perfect!

100 Outfit Challenge Day 54: Camping
I feel like I've never done a camping inspired outfit for any of my challenges so that's what we are doing today! Sporty and basic would be my go-to for the camping look. Casual yet comfortable is the ideal camping outfit for me. Something you can move around in and protect yourself from the elements if needed. Nowadays I'm not a camping person, but we went on a lot of school camps as kids. The best camps were usually the water based ones and they were my favourite which is weird cause I'm not much of a water person. I think it's fun to try new activities and I quite enjoyed when we did surfing back in year 7. That's definitely something I'd like to try out again, just maybe not during shark season.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 51: Pokemon
I've gone with an actual cosplay for day 51 as I thought I'd throw in a few cosplay inspired days. Today is about that silly Pokemon Quagsire! Now I'm not much of a Pokemon fan, but I have a Pokemon card of this guy up on my pinboard as it's just the cutest little thing.
The outfit I made for Quagsire is quite similar to the outfit I did for the artist theme. That wasn't originally planned as I did all the outfits in a mixed up order and I guess I just love using this outer and wanted another excuse! It's the best match to Quagsire's body shape and I used a different blue coloured beret to give the circle shape to the head. These socks are another love of mine and I've been using them quite a lot recently. They work really well with multiple styles and they remind me so much of the old glam style. The third pic I tried to use a different facial expression as I thought it would be fun for the cosplay. I tend to not go past the first 15 or so facial expression when taking photos, does anyone else do that? I just like the ones near the start the most and never venture too far from those.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 37: Country
Another photo shoot taken at a flower garden today! The theme for today is country which kinda means the style you'd see in regional areas to me. I was thinking of country as in the hills regional area we have here in my state and the kind of outfit you would wear on a day trip there. It's casual and girly yet comfortable to move around in and sit in a car for a long or short while. This is the kind of outfit I would totally wear in real life except with long sleeves on the denim jacket as I'm not a fan of three-quarter sleeves.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 34: New Love
Every now and then, I'll get obsessed with new items in Style Boutique. For a while, it was the biker jackets then skirts from Retrobeat. At the moment, the hot item is these cat socks from Retrobeat. I just fell in love with them as they too cute! I've used these socks in all the colours available for various outfits over the last year. For this outfit, I thought I'd give the blue/brown toned ones a try in this psychedelic/basic outfit. I actually really like the look of this outfit which also features one of other favourite items which are these skirts also from Retrobeat.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 24: Uniform
For this theme, I went with a broad uniform idea such as school uniform or work uniform. Not everyone is in the workforce yet or even have a school uniform. I decided to not make the usual preppy image outfit from Brooke Bridge and recreate the outfit I wear for work. My job is in logistics and I don't have a official uniform besides steel cap boots. So I tend to wear pretty casual attire that I don't care about getting dirty because my job is not glamorous at all, like you touch one thing and you're instantly dirty. Accidentally cut my pants up the other day with a knife, so I go through clothes pretty quick. My go-to look for most of the year (apart from summer months) is jeggings, t-shirts and a jacket from Kathmandu to keep warm. Then steel boots of course so I don't destroy my feet and you know WHS laws. It's a pain wearing them because doing 15,000 steps a day in them is annoying but I have these sneaker styles ones which are easier to wear than boot style ones.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 17: Rainy Afternoon
I feel today's theme is pretty appropriate for right now as it's currently winter and we've actually had some decent rain lately. I don't mind rainy days as long as it's a day I have off and can stay inside all day. There are these adorable rain boots in Styling Star that I just never use because I've never had a need, so I thought a rain themed outfit would be a fun chance to use them. This outfit is a mixture of basic and lively styles with a interesting colour scheme. I tried a few different colour combinations of this outer and the boots before settling on this one as I could them to match perfectly.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 11: Grey
Something new today which is a grey themed outfit which is a colour I have yet to cover in my Colour Outfits Collection. The outfit I created is a mixture of bold, basic and rock. A lot of the outfits I've been making for this challenge, I've just been selecting the items without many search criteria and I think it's really helped create more unique looks. I haven't been restricted to images or anything so I have more options available which has been great. This look is close to something I'd wear in real life apart from the three-quarter sleeves because I despise those. You just can't move in them and shirts always get creased at the elbow. Apart from the sleeves, the outfit is super comfy and a good use of these t-shirt style dresses in the game.

Outfit Of The Day - Blue Beauty
Seems like we haven't had an outfit of the day post for months because I've just been posting outfit collections and challenges. Well time for a change this week because I really wanted to share this stunning blue outfit that my character had on a few weeks for some Shopdo updates.
Honestly I just love these giant cape dress outer things which are new to Styling Star. They can be found at a variety of brands and I adore them all. The item works perfectly with tights and that was the main inspiration for this look. I rarely use tights so I wanted to try using them more and I discovered they work well with these outers. The blue colour scheme of the outfit is calmly yet bright and bubbly. The photo shoot took place in the Baby Blue boutique interior that I had in December and for the make-up I went with a frosted blue inspired look. Used my favourite new hairstyle to the game to complete the look along with some frosted blue nail polish!

Autumn Lookbook - Basic Style
Today's outfit for the Autumn Lookbook is a basic outfit! This outfit featuring items from Basic U is perfect for the warmer days of the season. I quite like these layer camisoles from Basic U and they are perfect to layer over t-shirts in a similar colour. These are the main basic items I use for basic image customers at the boutique. Not a fan of the shoes but they were the only ones that matched the outfit.

30 Day Outfit Challenge Day 17: Jeans
Pretty simple theme for today which is 'Jeans are the essential wardrobe item'. Basically the outfit for day 17 is one themed around a simple pair of jeans. Now in real life, I'm not a fan of jeans. I can never find a pair that fits and I'm not spending a ridiculous amount on jeans. My friends brought expensive jeans once and all their pairs fell apart straight away. So instead of jeans, I wear jeggings instead. Like I literally live in them in the cooler months. You can buy these really good quality ones from Kmart here and they come in a range of colours. Jeggings are great because you don't have to pull them up constantly and because they are stretch, they always fit!
So for the outfit in Styling Star, I used a pair of jeans from Basic U. That brand has the best selection of jeans, they even look like the jeggings I own! I paired a classy looking jacket with the outfit which I thought brought the look together.
