Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - YLVA

Quite a short Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book post today as this brand only features three pages. With something that short, it just had to be one of the hand bag brands which is YLVA. This brand is known as ARIANNA in the NA and PAL versions of the game and honestly I prefer the Japanese name. It feels more like a bag brand name to me as most handbag companies have shortened or one word names. We have a popular one called Mimco over here which was the key piece for private school girls outfit years ago and I've even seen the bag shop Strandbags calling themselves Strand. I think they've actually changed their name since the last time I went in there a few months ago. Anyway YLVA is quite a elegant name for a elegant brand wouldn't you agree?

If you are creating a chic looking outfit, then YLVA is the brand for you. It is home to a large amount of chic themed bags and has 182 items to collect. YLVA also falls under the images of basic, bold and feminine. I always find it amusing when I'm trying to create an afforable basic themed outfit and the game is like 'yeah chuck this $300 bag in'. Customers are never pleased with that and it is probably best to stick to bags from Basic U. I quite like this brand as there are a variety of bag designs to choose from and you aren't limited to one style. Personally myself, I tend to use the purses the most and they always match any outfit.

Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - flute f

A request came through from a reader of the blog for another Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book post who was after the items from the brand Chorale. This lovely request made it super easy to decide on the next set of photos to post from the book! In Girls Mode 3, the brand Chorale is called flute f which is a perfectly elegantly sounding name to match the feminine brand of the series. I absolutely adore the outfit that brand representative Aisling has one in the photo below. It encapsulates what flute f represents and the colours tones are gorgeous.

flute f is home to a variety of styles that are not just feminine. Of course we have the girly style which I personally feel can be quite similar to the feminine one. Sometimes I even get the items mixed up or make outfits that I look back on and wonder whether it is girly or feminine. The other styles that are found at flute f are basic, psychedelic, gothic, baby-doll, chic and preppy. flute f is a brand that I came to love the more I played the game and feel that I've used it quite a lot in the latest instalment in the series. Looking at these photos of the items showcases how the brand jumps from beautiful pastel tones to sophisticated dark tones. I feel with this brand that I can always piece together a stylish looking outfit and it is a great brand to mix with other ones such as Marzipan Sky, Enid Chen or Brooke Bridge.

Shopdo Update - September 2021

Updated my Shopdo after what seems like an eternity! These outfits will be up for all of September along with the blue boutique theme. For the update, I wanted to go with something that felt like Spring even though the weather is still cold here. Been absolutely freezing lately and lots of rain! I decided to have a blue coloured theme for this update and went with some fresh looking outfits.

First up is Blue Spring which is inspired by the type of outfit I'd love to wear if the weather was warm. I've always been a big fan of this skirt from Marzipan Sky so I went with it as main piece. The look is a fun youthful outfit perfect for a day out! The second outfit is a more feminine inspired outfit and I tried to use items I rarely use. Are these types of jeans back in fashion now? I feel everyone talks about them coming back and I'm dreading it. Had enough of them back in the 2000's! The outfit is a casual look ideal for shopping in an outdoor shopping area or on a spring date. The final outfit is a lively look using some items from April Bonbon that I've never really used. I picked out the shorts first and then I discovered this camisole matched them perfectly. I wonder if I've just missed this combination all these years.

You can find all these outfits at my Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Shopdo Update - March 2020

Finally got the Shopdo Update up for March, I had just completely forgotten about it until recently as I didn't realise it was March. So I'm sorry for the late upload of the new outfits :( I've stuck with the same interior as last month as I'm not really feeling inspired to make a new one nor have any ideas for a new layout. I decided to go with colour themed outfits this month for something different. First up is a beige themed outfit as hype for the Colour Collection post I will be posting soon featuring that very colour. I quite like the beige toned items in Style Boutique and I went for a feminine/chic look for this outfit. I tried to use some items I rarely use such as these pants and inner. Next up is a girly look because I'm boring haha. Nah I really like making girly outfits in the game and there is just so many items under that theme that it would take ages to try them all out! Last look is another feminine inspired look and I tried to go for a coffee brown tone for this one. I always use these dresses from Chorale as they are well designed and look great in all the colours. You can find all these outfits at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Shopdo Update - February 2020

I've kept the feminine themed boutique for another one as I love this interior and last month's outfits proved popular. The outfits for February feature a range of styles and are suitable for different occasions. First up is a feminine themed look featuring this gorgeous aqua tone and for this look, I wanted to try using a trench coat style outer as I rarely use those. I paired it with this skirt from Enid Chen and some cute heels. The second outfit is a girly outfit as that's my usual go-to look for Shopdo outfits. I actually really like this and feel it would be cute in real life to wear. Again I tried to use some items I rarely use which resulted in this camisole top with these shorts. Last outfit is a baby-doll one and I went for a brown colour scheme to try to match the boutique interior. The outfit is a mixture of items from Marble Lily, Raven Candle and Marzipan Sky. All three of these outfits can be found at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Shopdo Update - January 2020

First Shopdo update for the new decade as well as the new year! Today marks the first day of 2020 and I'll be continuing on with my monthly Shopdo Updates as that schedule has been working out well for me in recent months. I've got a new elegant inspired boutique interior this month and three new outfits to share with you.

I decided to start off with a preppy outfit for my first outfit and I love the pairing of this inner and skirt. The plaid on the skirts matches the cute little tie on the shirt and it looks so classy. Originally I wanted to go with a brown toned outfit to match the other two looks but decided on this look as I like the overall look of it. Second outfit is a feminine outfit to match the new interior and I went with some items I knew went well together. Always used to pair this long sleeve inner with these high-waisted shorts in Fashion Forward. The final outfit is titled Girly Classic as it's a look I used to wear all the time in Fashion Forward and felt like bringing it back for the new year. I always had this thing for pairing these three quarter pants with this particular style of outer. You can find all three outfits at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Time for the new boutique interior and I decided to go with something elegant and simple this time. The feminine style was the main inspiration and I tried to work with the lighter coloured furniture items. Originally I wanted to use the brick wallpaper that covers the entire three walls but I couldn't find the right counter to match it. I hate how you can't remove the counter as I'd rather not have one and it's a pain to match against other items.

Shopdo Update - Announcement & Blue Girly Boutique Interior

First off with a quick Shopdo Update announcement! From this week onwards, I will be doing monthly Shopdo Updates instead of weekly. With my work schedule, it's a challenge to update my Shopdo each week and with Christmas coming up, it's going to get a lot busier. I've enjoyed doing the weekly updates and coming up with a billion different outfits over the last few years. But it's time to slow down a bit and I will be uploading new outfits at the start of each month. Not sure if I'll change the boutique interior each month yet, depends on how much I like the interior style and outfit wise.

Now onto the outfits! I've given the boutique a new interior as I've packed away the Halloween interior for another year. This time I've gone for a girly themed boutique with a lovely blue colour scheme. All of the Shopdo outfits are themed around this colour scheme. First up is a feminine ensemble that is one of my favourite feminine looks in Styling Star. I love the cut of these new items to the Chorale brand, they look stunning in every colour. The second outfit is a elegant Baby-Doll coordinate as I really wanted to use this combo of the striped skirt and top. The green tie is a nice touch and brings a pop of colour to the blue scheme. The final outfit is a cute casual girly look which I tried to use items I was a fan of in Fashion Forward. I don't use these much nowadays but they always look great together as seen in this outfit. You can find all three outfits at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Here is a look at the new girly inspired boutique interior and as you can tell from the pictures, the colour blue is the theme of this boutique. I based it off an old pink themed boutique I had in my Shopdo once and just swapped out the furniture items for the blue versions. I really miss the blue tall cupboard miniature that was in Fashion Forward, it would've looked stunning in this set-up!

Shopdo Update

First of all, apologies for the late Shopdo Update as I was sick yesterday and wasn't able to post the update. So the first thing I've done after getting home after work is to post the update and here it is! I have another round of costumes for Halloween and all of this weeks outfits are vampire theme. The inspiration was that I really want to try out one of the Sims 4 bundle packs that has the vampires pack in it, I thought that would be a fun one as supernatural creatures have always been interesting in the game. The first vampire outfit is an elegant feminine inspired look and whilst I was originally going to go with a chic look, I thought the Chorale might be a bit more suitable and looks like an everyday outfit one might wear. The second outfit titled Moon Vampire is inspired by Purple Moon items. I finally found a use for these tacky dresses from the brand that I just never use and I paired it with some items from other Purple Moon sets. The final outfit is a cute Baby-Doll inspired vampire coordinate. It's kinda a mixture between gothic and baby-doll but I wanted it to have a more cute feel to it than dark. You can find all three of these spooky costumes at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

100 Outfit Challenge Day 92: Favourite & Least Favourite Colour

Today's outfit blew me away as I wasn't expecting this theme to turn out so well and it has become one of my top outfits of the entire challenge. The idea was to combine my favourite and least favourite colours together into one outfit. Now pink is my favourite colour and red is my least favourite colour but luckily these colours are quite close to each in terms of colour palettes. I went straight to this inner as I knew it had both colours in it and built the rest of the outfit around it. It actually turned out quite well and very stylish. I actually used more red than pink items in the outfit and I think that helped make the outfit really pop.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 88: Green

I feel I've kinda run out of captions to write for all these outfits after posting 87 of them. Today is just another colour themed day with today's outfit all about green. I went with a girly look as I'm still into these camisoles from Marzipan Sky. This one is interesting in particular as it contains different patterns but the design still looks amazing. I paired it with a basic skirt and some trainers as it's a pretty casual look. The girly style is kinda like that for me, it's my version of basic really. I tend to wear pretty basic girly styled clothing in real life so I try to go for that look in game sometimes. Plus Marzipan Sky has some great casual looking items in a variety of colours and patterns.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 80: Leg Warmers

Honest question for all the Style Boutique players out there, does anyone really use leg warmers? I only have them as I buy them to complete my collection for each brand. But I just never use them! So that was my main inspiration for today's theme as I wanted to try to create an outfit built around some leg warmers. I went with a girly outfit as I feel that's my comfort zone and I'm pleased with how it turned out. Now this isn't the best ensemble for cold weather but it still looks cute! The leg warmers look stylish when paired with some boots and I tried to incorporate the same pink tones from the leg warmers into the rest of the outfit.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 59: Disney

I feel with every challenge I do for my blog ends up having a Disney themed day. This time I went with a snow white inspired outfit in the feminine style. I mainly picked items that matched the colour tones in her outfit and went with a pretty casual look. Nothing too fancy and I have to say I'm not overly fond of these cardigans. I think they just look a bit stiff in the game and could do with some cute accessories. If only we had brooches in the game, that would be perfect!

100 Outfit Challenge Day 55: 1990's

Ah the 1990's! One of the best eras for me and my personal favourite. Most of my favourite movies are from the 1990's as well as music. One of my top movies Night At The Roxbury even has one of my all time favourite songs 'What Is Love' in it. Love it when that song comes on the 90's dance CD we play at work sometimes. Today's look was inspired by the movie Clueless which I've actually done an outfit for before in my 30 Day Cosplay Challenge. So I tried to create the same outfit again but with different items. I feel like this look would be something I'd wear in real life as I love skirts and high socks. 1990's fashion was the best as it often looked all over the place but had this stylish appearance to it. It's great that it's come back into fashion as I've picked up a few cool logo tees at the shops, found a neon MTV logo one for $5 recently when I needed a shirt for work quickly.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 53: Beige

Beige is a colour I can safely say that I only wear in Styling Star and not in real life. I can't recall any clothing items I have that are this colour. I feel the items in Styling Star are closer to brown tones than beige honestly. For this outfit, I went with a feminine and preppy look from items that came under the beige colour search option. This is a pretty standard outfit for me in the game as I tend to make this look quite a lot. Isn't it interesting that when you actually take the time to think about, you realise you tend to go for the same looks in the game. I guess when you the way something is, you tend to stick with it.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 35: Feminine

Styling Star received a lovely amount of new dresses to the series and this dress from Chorale is a perfect example of that. I thought the dresses really improved for the brand in Styling Star and I find myself using the feminine style quite a lot more than previous games. Here is my feminine look for the challenge and looking at it now, it kinda reminds me of chocolate banana flavour. I think it's the colour combination that does that! This hairstyle looks perfect for the feminine look as well.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 32: Magenta

I feel I've totally missed this colour in Styling Star as I always skip straight to the pink search option. And I should've discovered this sooner as this tone is gorgeous! I was so happy with how this outfit turned out and looks so elegant yet girly. The outfit is just three pieces which are this beaded turtle neck, check mini skirt and thigh high boots. I haven't done a magenta colour outfits collection post but after seeing the selection of items available, I'll need to do one later on this year after the challenge is over.

Shopdo Update

Last week's Shopdo Update was themed around bags so I thought I'd do another theme week again and this time it's camisoles! These types of tops were always an item I avoided in previous Style Boutique games, but I've grown to love them in Styling Star. Each outfit in this week's update features a camisole and I've gone with a girly and lively look for this week. First up is this green outfit which is pretty casual and perfect for summer weather. Second is a lively outfit featuring plenty of polka dots and I actually used this bag for the first time in ages. I feel these bags are super cute but I don't make enough outfits that suit them. The last outfit is a girly outfit more suitable for warmer spring weather. These floral print camisoles from Marzipan Sky are gorgeous and look great with three-quarter pants. You can find all three outfits at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Shopdo Update

I thought I'd try out a theme for this week's Shopdo Update which is that all the outfits feature the same handbag. When I made the first outfit, I quite liked how the handbag looked so I decided to try out the other colours of the bag with the other two outfits. All the outfits for this week are based around colours starting off with purple. I have to say that this shade of purple is my favourite in the game and I just can't get enough of it. Next up is a feminine outfit inspired by the colour blue. I tried to use some items I haven't used much so that's how I came to this skirt. I've never used them much which I think it because of the pattern isn't really my taste. The last outfit is a girly outfit in pink tones because I love pink! You can find all three outfits at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).
