Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book - YLVA

Quite a short Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book post today as this brand only features three pages. With something that short, it just had to be one of the hand bag brands which is YLVA. This brand is known as ARIANNA in the NA and PAL versions of the game and honestly I prefer the Japanese name. It feels more like a bag brand name to me as most handbag companies have shortened or one word names. We have a popular one called Mimco over here which was the key piece for private school girls outfit years ago and I've even seen the bag shop Strandbags calling themselves Strand. I think they've actually changed their name since the last time I went in there a few months ago. Anyway YLVA is quite a elegant name for a elegant brand wouldn't you agree?

If you are creating a chic looking outfit, then YLVA is the brand for you. It is home to a large amount of chic themed bags and has 182 items to collect. YLVA also falls under the images of basic, bold and feminine. I always find it amusing when I'm trying to create an afforable basic themed outfit and the game is like 'yeah chuck this $300 bag in'. Customers are never pleased with that and it is probably best to stick to bags from Basic U. I quite like this brand as there are a variety of bag designs to choose from and you aren't limited to one style. Personally myself, I tend to use the purses the most and they always match any outfit.

One Item Challenge - ARIANNA

Since I completed my Colour Outfits Collection for Style Boutique 3: Styling Star, it is the perfect time to work on my One Item Challenge. Sometimes this challenge can be quite difficult as one item from a particular brand will work with all the images in the game. However it is fun to try and make an outfit work with what you've got. This time round I've chosen the elegant bag brand ARIANNA! I tried to select an item that wasn't too flashy and would fit well with the games brands. I decided on this Smart Satchel in this brown and white tone as you can find those colours in all the brands.

Here is the chic outfit for the challenge and this is the main theme for this item. Tried to go for something I normally wouldn't choose so I made up this career woman look. These jumper tees are quite interesting from Enid Chic, I've seen this style in real life but they just look too uncomfortable for me to wear for more than 5 minutes. They totally work in the game though! I paired it with these printed shorts and heeled boots. The best thing about this top was that I could pair a necklace with it! Sometimes necklaces are useless in certain outfits as the tops have patterns on them that hides the look of the necklace but it looks lovely here.

Onto the remaining looks now and I would vote my top outfits as preppy, gothic, basic and Purple Moon. I love the dark tones in the preppy outfit and I think the fitted skirt was a great idea as it gives the outfit a more sleek look. I like pleated skirts but I feel fitted was what this outfit needed. Gothic worked out amazing and it actually look a few tries before I got to this one! I wanted to use items I haven't used much so I had to search around for items that matched this outer and skirt. The basic outfit was a surprise to me as it turned out so good! I even forgot it was the basic style when going through the screenshots! It could be mistaken for the girly image and I kept thinking it was that. Now for the psychedelic look, I actually like the outfit and think it doesn't even match the bag now that I'm looking back on it! Guess the design isn't weird enough for the Retrobeat groove. Purple Moon is a cute look that I just knew I was going to do when that sailor shirt kept popping up with every other brand search.

Overall I think all the outfits turned out decent and the only duds in my opinion where lively and boho-chic. I guess those styles don't match the elegant look of the bag and I just couldn't find any items that went well with it. I was pleasantly surprise at how good the sporty outfit turned out! Like it's not something you would normally wear but it looks presentable. No clue why I paired a big puffy winter jacket with a short skirt, that's a questionable choice.

Shopdo Update

There's a fun little theme to this week's Shopdo outfits which is that they are all ghost themed! Thought it was perfect for Halloween and would be super cute. The first outfit is a ghost themed around the girly style and I'm sure I had a similar look last Halloween. I liked it so much back then, I thought I'd bring it back. Next up is a Gothic ghost coordinate of course because you can't have spooky without the Gothic image. I tried to use some items such as this dress which I've never used before. Lastly is a chic inspired ghost because I feel it's quite unique and stylish. All three of these beauties are available at Shopdo ID 0006271056 in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

100 Outfit Challenge Day 66: Over $300

A quick question for all Style Boutique fans regarding today's theme, do you feel there could be more expensive clothing in the game? I wish their was another expensive brand that specialised in formal attire such as dresses and accessories. Kinda like a prom or wedding focused brand. I feel Enid Chen doesn't cover the formal dress area well enough as the dresses feel a bit too similar to me. Anyway today's theme is about creating an outfit from items that cost more than $300. I just used the price search feature to find the items and I'm happy with the result. I never knew this outer from Purple Moon would match Enid Chen items so well. This might be one of new favourite chic style outfits as it's so elegant and stylish.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 56: Chic

We've had a few chic outfits so far for the 100 Outfit Challenge, but today is the day completely dedicated to the lavish style. For the chic outfit, I tried to go with items I haven't used much for chic outfits so I turned to the dress section. There's quite a few dresses in there that I rarely touch and just brought for completion sake. I went with this green tone printed dress and paired it with some boots and elegant jacket. Included my favourite glasses from Enid Chen of course as I cannot make a chic outfit with them!

100 Outfit Challenge Day 41: Glitter

Even though you can't actually see glitter in Style Boutique, you can definitely get the idea that certain clothing items are all about the over the top glitter! I thought it would make a fun challenge idea to make an outfit that celebrates the wonder that is glitter. I feel items from Enid Chen and AZ-USA have the most glitter style items and I ended up with this chic look for the outfit. Enid Chen has plenty of sparkly dresses for the night out and could you imagine how this jacket would look in real life? I'm guessing it would be pretty heavy as I remember trying on a glitter jacket once at an Op Shop and it weighed a ton. Plus it would be a pain to clean and I'd be worried about snagging it on everything.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 40: Hairstyle

Almost halfway there with the 100 Outfits Challenge at Day 40! Today's theme is hairstyle and you may have noticed I've used the same hairstyle throughout the entire challenge. I did this mainly because it's much easier and this particular hairstyle is my favourite in the game. I've worn it multiple times over the course of playing the games and always come back to it. We may have lost a number of amazing styles that were removed but we got some gems such as this look. This hair cut reminds me of feminine and chic styles a lot, so I went with a chic style outfit. I tried to do something like I hadn't done on other challenge days, so I came up with this green blue inspired look which kinda reminds me of snakes for some reason. I guess it's the print on the bag that does that.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 31: Formal

The theme for today is formal which calls for an outfit from Enid Chen of course! I went with this stunning strapless dress in this aqua tone. The hairstyle I've been using for the challenge perfectly suits this chic look and would be suitable for any formal event. If a new brand or style was ever added into a new game in the series, I'd love to see a formal inspired one featuring gowns, prom style dresses and party shoes. I feel Enid Chen has some nice pieces, but I'd love to see more added into the game that aren't just the chic style.

Shopdo Update

You may notice something weird about one of this week's Shopdo Update outfits, it pretty obvious. It seems there is a black line running through the photo which is a glitch I've encountered before back in August last year. Whenever I selected the second outfit after I created it, it would bring up this line. I tried saving and reloading Shopdo but it kept appearing. A bit bizarre but we'll carry on.

The first outfit for this week's Shopdo update is a chic style outfit featuring silver and grey tones. Hence the name Silver Streak. The second outfit is a girly style outfit featuring items from the Chorale and Chorale Prelude brands. I quite like this look as it's sophisticated yet still girly. Perfect for spring or autumn weather. The final outfit is a feminine look to match the boutique interior and I went with a green colour palette for this look. I'm really into plaid skirts at the moment in the Style Boutique series so used one of them in this outfit. You can find all three outfits (and hopefully not the black line) at Shopdo ID 0006271056 if you play New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (EUR/AUS Region).

Autumn Lookbook - Chic Style

This chic outfit from Enid Chen and ARIANNA is perfect for the business woman on the go during the autumn season. I absolutely love this aqua colour scheme and I applaud the developers for getting the jacket and skirt to match in colour. These sparkling jackets from Enid Chen always look amazing and are perfect for the autumn weather. Big fan of the glasses as they look super cute and sophisticated.

25 Day Outfit Challenge Day 23: A Formal Look

Nearing the end of the 25 Day Outfit Challenge. Finally a formal theme appeared and I decided to go with this elegant look using items from Purple Moon and Enid Chen. Now take a good look at this first photo and appreciate the hilarious clipping of the hair curl on the hand part. Just amazing! I love how some of the hairstyles do this, it looks so silly in photos. Anyway, the actual outfit is stunning and the Angelique hairstyle works perfectly for this elegant look.
