After writing that title, I realised it was almost artists that start with the letter M! So I got another CD haul from Zenmarket last month and got some great new additions to my J-Pop collection. Last year I did get a large number of albums from Zenmarket but never ended up posting them on here. Maybe I'll do my CD collection posts later on this year and add them to that.
This order I focused mainly on AKB48 releases as there was a number of singles I was interested in collecting. Then there was also some harder to find albums that I have been searching for that I managed to find selling on Yahoo Auctions which is the platform I use to buy all my CD's from in Japan. Here are all the items I received in this order from Zenmarket!
Starting off with the large collection of AKB48 singles I brought from this one seller. They were selling a set of 20 singles for 400JPY. Absolutely insane and all of them were brand new and unopened. So I couldn't say no to this deal as it contained quite a few singles I had been wanting. Sustainable was the main one I have been looking for as I really enjoy this song and it feels like a true AKB48 song to me. There was one song on Negaigoto no mochigusare that I like from hearing the JKT48 version of it. I had originally brought this CD last year but sadly it got cancelled by Zenmarket due to issues with the seller. So it was nice to finally receive one. All of the below singles are the theater or shop editions which are usually the ones I collect.
After that massive lot of singles, I brought even more AKB48 singles! I had been wanting to get Ponytail to shushu for a while now as I love the Majijo Teppen Blues song. It's so dramatic and amazing to listen to and the part with Takahashi Minami is my favourite. Also brought a set that had some random singles in it mainly because I was looking for the Heavy Rotation CD which is the one in the case. A big thank you to Zemarket for helping with this specific item as they helped out with this a request I had regarding this item. Super helpful and great communication with everything! These were also all new sealed singles which are super easy to find with AKB48 as fans often bulk buy the CD's and rarely open them.
Last AKB48 set is this one with no cases which makes it super light weight to ship. This is the third time I've brought from this seller with this exact style of listing. It is a convenient way to get singles if you aren't fussed about the jewel case. The stack of singles on the left side is releases I already owned and the other five are new ones to the collection. I did already have Type B edition of Koko ga Rhodes da, Koko de Tobe! digitally but not the theater edition with the edition song. So 300JPY for all these CD's was a good deal and I'm not fussed about the extras at that price. Like I have three copies of Koi Suru Fortune Cookie now!
To finish the order off are some of the albums that were the main reason for this haul. Firstly, I have been searching for this specific m.o.v.e CD called move super tune - Best Selections - for a while now however every time I see it, it's either crazy expensive or someone buys it before me. Or I would find the DVD audio version which is not what I'm after. So I was randomly bored on my lunch break one day and thought why not look for that CD on Yahoo Auctions. And there is was! For like 1300JPY! Of course I bid on it right away and won a few days later. I was so excited as this particular album has new versions of their previous releases and has some great remixes. This release isn't available on iTunes so it's harder to find.
The MOMOLAND Chiri Chiri album was another rare find and I've been hunting for this one for years. I could only ever come across listings for the rental version and often Zenmarket doesn't let you buy these. Plus they are probably in bad condition being rentals. So imagine my surprise when searching for this album after finding the m.o.v.e one and finding a listing for it! Not only a listing, but a brand new sealed copy of the Limited Edition CD+DVD. Insane! A lovely addition to my MOMOLAND collection.
The other two albums I got were 入口のない出口? Iriguchi no Nai Deguchi from Momoiro Clover and Best! Morning Musume 1 from Morning Musume. The Momoiro Clover one was a random purchase as I knew there was a cover of a m.o.v.e song on there that I was interested to hear. I've never really gotten into Momoiro Clover so I'm interested to hear this album which is a collection of the Indies best songs. Now the Morning Musume one makes me laugh because it has a funny story. I became obsessed with the song Say Yeah! ~ もっとミラクルナイト Miracle Night ~ and just had to have the recorded version of it. So I searched on iTunes for ages to see if it was on there but sadly it wasn't. Months went by and I would constantly check iTunes to see if was hidden somewhere. Gave up and ended up ordering this best of album as it is the only Morning Musume for it to appear on. Then literally the next day, Hello Project uploaded their entire discography onto iTunes in Australia. Right after I brought the CD after months of searching on iTunes. Well at least I have access to lots of other Hello Project songs that I like haha.
That is all for this Zenmarket haul and it's exciting to have some new songs to listen to. Had to go to IKEA to get a new storage box for all of these as my other one is full of DVD box sets. I'm only missing 12 AKB48 singles now in my collection so looks like another Zenmarket order is in the future!
