Style Boutique 2: All Caprice Chalet Rooms

It is the end of an era with the online features for the Nintendo 3DS being shut off by Nintendo a few weeks ago. Crazy to think how much I sunk into using the online modes in the Style Boutique games and all the posts I made on the blog regarding Caprice Chalet and Shopdo. I went back through my post history and I posted 17 room updates which is a decent number! I used to spend a lot of time downloading rooms to obtain items I didn't have. Like hours entering the room codes and cross checking guides to make sure I had every single item.

Since the room sharing feature is now turned off, I though it would be fun to post all the Caprice Chalet rooms I had created in the game. These are all rooms that I had put together and not every single one was featured in online. Some were ones that I created for guides back when I used to do those for another blog. Excuse any terrible quality photos as there was a brief period where I ran the image through photoshop thinking it made it look better when it only made it worst. Honestly I am the worst person with graphic design things and have zero skills.

Let's start off with two cute animal themed room! I always love putting the little dog miniatures down in rooms and it was an easy way to fill space. The first room has the perfect name of Bird Cage as it is literally the bird item placed four times. I was really trying to fill some quota there. The dog room was similar to a loft room but I had to figure out how many dogs made it a dog room. Seems like it is the number three!

Onto a bunch of bedrooms and this was the most common room I would encounter online and through streetpassing. No idea why, like was it an easy room to set up with the starter items and you didn't have to be too creative. I've seen some pretty crazy looking rooms of all colour and pattern schemes over the years. All the bedrooms tend to look the same as there isn't a large amount of bed themed items to choose from. I've literally only used two beds in these rooms! Girly bedroom is nearly identical apart from a few items.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Cute Sewing Room

Another month, another Caprice Chalet room update! For the month of December I've gone with this cute sewing room. I've been missing sewing in real life as I haven't had the chance to do much lately due to power outages and work commitments over the busy period. Looking forward to getting back into it in 2023! This room inspires me to start some fun new projects! I designed it years ago and thought it would be nice to upload online. It isn't too fancy with the item placements as I couldn't find items that matched perfectly. Say for example the shelves at the back are a different style to the desk. At least all the clothing items are pretty and I wish my projects looked that amazing! I've made a few baby-doll styled dresses myself and I feel there it always room for improvement. I wear them nowadays to work as it is fun to get all dressed up sometimes.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Animal Crossing

Yesterday I updated my Shopdo after nearly a year and today it is time to update my Caprice Chalet room in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward. Soooo it seems that I haven't updated my room in the game since March 2020 and wow that seems like a billion years ago. I really want to get back into updating both my Shopdo and Caprice Chalet room address each month, kind of like a new years resolution.

So for my exciting room for the update I went with an Animal Crossing themed space. Nothing too fancy and I wanted to start off easy after not playing the game after so long. The main inspiration for this room was actually from a comment on my old Fashion Forward blog. A commenter was asking if anyone had these Animal Crossing DLC items in a room available for download so that they could purchase them. I thought why not just fill a room with them and let the player know. The items are quite cute and the photocopier is honestly my favourite. It's just so boring and plain compared to the flashy Style Boutique game.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Dog Room

For this months Caprice Chalet room, I decided to go with something simple and cute. I made this dog themed room a while ago for a guide and still had it in my room collection. So I thought it would be a fun room for this month! The design is very similar to the loft/hallway designs I sometimes do for rooms and I just put down a bunch of dog miniatures to theme the room. These miniatures are so adorable! They remind me of Little Friends on the Nintendo Switch which I just brought and it's super cute! Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Cool Boutique

Second Caprice Chalet update for 2020 and this month's room is a bold/chic themed boutique. I created this room years ago and it has been popular with customers over the years. With this design, I managed to cram in quite a number of displays and clothing items. Love the look of the staircase in the corner and it helps make the boutique look larger than what it actually is. The range of cool and chic themed clothing miniatures is quite varied and a large number are available so it was fairly easy to deck out the boutique. Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Sweet Bedroom

I thought since I'm only doing monthly Shopdo Updates now instead of weekly ones, it would be nice to update my Caprice Chalet room monthly again. I've done room updates on and off for a few years now and in 2020, I want to try and update it more. Decided to make a new room from scratch instead of uploading an older design as it's been ages since I made a new room. I had a lot of fun with it and it's nice to see the older miniatures that aren't in the game anymore.

This month's room is themed around a cute bedroom and features soft colour tones and cute accessories. I used FABBY mascot and slippers from the Pink Latte DLC which look adorable. There was a run included in the layout I first made, but once I selected this flooring I removed it as there is a rug included in it already. Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Sweet N Sour

A bit late in the month, but here's the new Caprice Chalet room for March! I've decided to go with a candy shop this month using this old design I had saved in my game. It's super colourful and delicious!

This room isn't overally complicated, I mainly wanted to test out building a candy store. Love all the bright colours and multicoloured brick part around the room. Also one of the few times I've actually used this counter, I don't use it often as it reminds me of a bathroom with the tiled front. Also can we bring back rugs and carpets in Styling Star? They bring a room together nicely and work great under items.

Style Boutique 2 Play Journal - Visiting Over 190 Caprice Chalet Rooms!

A while ago, I decided it would be fun to go back to Style Boutique 2 and visit every single Caprice Chalet room listed in the Rooms Database on my Style Boutique 2 Blog. The database has nearly 200 rooms listed and I visited them all! You can find the entire list here at my Style Boutique 2 blog and all the rooms listed are currently available for download. There was only three I had to remove from the list as the room was no longer up for download. All the rooms are in order according to the list so you can find the ones you like to visit from it. Quite a lot of these rooms are Japanese players as I sourced a lot of codes off Japanese websites. The pastel themed boutiques would be my favourites from the list and there's also a few cute living/kitchen style rooms as well. Enjoy looking at all these wonderful designs!

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Luxury Palace

For February's Caprice Chalet room, I thought I'd get a little fancy and upload the luxurious room I designed a few years ago. It's only a simple room but it goes overboard with elegance. The room is titled Luxury Palace and you can download it in Style Boutique 2 at the room address 180-239-9851.

The main inspiration for this room designed was trying to find the right combination of items that got customers to rent the room out as a luxurious room. Basically you have to use the luxury couch and the Palace wall and flooring. Then I just put in some expensive looking miniatures like the mantel clock and glass slipper. The red curtains worked perfectly to create that rich mansion appearance and I even forgot they were miniatures for a second and though they were part of the wallpaper!

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Pink Bedroom

2019 is here and so is a new room available for download in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward. I've decided to go with a simple design this month and have uploaded a cute Pink Bedroom room. One of the inspirations for this room was the first room I designed in Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward which was a girly bedroom. I have a picture of it on my Types Of Rooms Guide on my Fashion Forward Guide blog. For this room, I wanted to go for a more pastel/dusty pink vibe with some pops of colour. I think Fashion Forward had a great selection of pastel themed miniatures and some super cute beds! I can understand why they removed the beds in Styling Star because it doesn't seem like something you'd put in a boutique.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Christmas Lounge

The festive season is here so I have the perfect excuse to break out the Christmas themed Caprice Chalet room! I fell in love with this room after I made it as it's so cozy and perfect for Christmas Eve. You can download the Christmas Lounge in Style Boutique 2 at the room address 180-239-9851.

I quite like the Christmas themed miniatures in Fashion Forward (as well as Styling Star) as I think they are festive yet not too over the top or tacky. It's great that you can hang the tinsel style miniatures from the ceiling to give a room that extra festive touch. The fireplace miniature is the perfect addition to any Christmas room and you can't forget the presents under the tree!

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: November 2018

This month's Caprice Chalet is one of my personal favourites and a fan favourite as well. I had this room available for download a long time ago and it was quite popular. So when I was trying to pick a new room for November, I came across this design in my doll house and knew it was the one! So here is my PopPop Boutique which you can visit at room address 180-239-9851.

Honestly I think this is one of my best room designs. It's just so energetic, colourful and full of amazing items. This room is categorised as a objects shop so customers will talk about being interested in cute things. I actually discovered this type of room by accident. I was just trying to create a psychedelic/lively style room and then customers started renting it as a objects shop. This room does make me a bit nostalgic as a few of the miniatures used weren't featured in Styling Star.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: October 2018

This month's room has been available for download since the start of the month, but I've only got around to posting the update on here until now. I've been quite busy lately creating guides for my Style Boutique blogs which I'm quite pleased with. Managed to get a whole stack made this week so there should be lots of updates going on up the Styling Star one over the next few months. I'm going to try to finish off some guides for the Fashion Forward one as well. I was so busy with work that last few months that I didn't have enough time to do guides for both games. I want to finish off all the Purple Moon sets so that's my main goal at the moment.

Anyway back to the room update! For this months Caprice Chalet room, I went with an office layout. This is one of my favourite room designs as it's quite unique and a bit out of the box design wise. So I thought 'Office Space' would be a nice room to upload for October.

The main design aspect of this room is the photocopier which was available through the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer DLC. Seeing this item again makes me sad that Styling Star has received zero DLC compared to Fashion Forward which had a decent amount of DLC releases for the West and stacks for Japan.

For the room design, I pretty much just placed miniatures around the space to create a messy office environment. Fashion Forward has quite a few writing themed miniatures so I put those to good use as well. Actually used a window in this design, they tend to be a miniature that I avoid using. Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: September 2018

Better late than never, so here is the new Caprice Chalet room available for download this month in Style Boutique 2. September has just gone so quick for me that I only just got around to updating the room this week. For this month, I've uploaded a simple front hall style room titled Loft Front Hall.

I love the design of this room as it's so simple and homely. The colours of the furniture blend great with the brick walls and wooden floorboard. I used brown tones for the accessories and added a cute toy poodle to greet guests when they arrive. I miss being able to place rugs on the floor in Styling Star as it was a fun feature at the Caprice Chalet to add extra touches to rooms. Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: August 2018

It's a little bit late, but here is the new Caprice Chalet room for the month of August. This month, I decided to put up my Cat Cafe for download. I made this room a while back for a guide for my Style Boutique 2 blog and thought I'd upload it this month as something different from the usual boutique style rooms.

The main idea of this room was to discover how to decorate a room in order for it to be categorised as a cat room for customers. I just called it a Cat Cafe as I thought the theme suited a room full of cat miniatures. It's adorable how you can place the cats on surfaces such as counters and chairs. It gives a realistic cat cafe look and looks super cute!

Style Boutique 2: Room Address Update July 2018

I realised this morning that I hadn't posted my updated Caprice Chalet room on Marzipan Wonderland. So if you play Fashion Forward, I have a new room available for download! This month's Caprice Chalet room is a adorable pastel themed beauty room. I created this room a while ago as I love using the pastel coloured miniatures. Unfortunately this room doesn't qualify as a room type for renting, so no one ever uses it. Thought I'd put it for download this month so players can enjoy the space.

Style Boutique 2: Room Address Update

Keeping with my plan to update my Room Address in New Style Boutique 2, here is the new room that is available for download during the month of June! The room for this month is a stylish sewing room featuring a mixture of fashion styles. You can download the room at the Room Address 180-239-9851 in either New Style Boutique 2, Style Savvy 3 or ガールズモード３(Girls Mode 3).

I designed this room a few years ago and thought it was time for a change with my Room Address which is normally boutique themed rooms. It's actually kinda tricky to get the exact amount of correct miniatures in the room in order for the game to call it a sewing room for customers. There are some necessities you need such as a sewing machine, clothing displays and a chair. This isn't the only sewing room I've designed, but this was the only successfully rented one as a sewing room. The others are more just done to a certain style. I've posted a handy guide on my Style Boutique 2 blog if you interested in learning more about designing this type of room. Here's some pictures of the room from different angles, I just love the framed pictures as they match the tone of the room.

Style Boutique 2 Caprice Chalet: Updated Room Address

After the longest time ever, I finally updated the room I have for download at the Caprice Chalet in Style Boutique 2. My new room is called Pastel Dream and has a beautiful pastel and whimsical interior. The room is available for download at the address 180-239-9851.

Here are some pictures of the room interior. I really wish you could place items next to walls if something is placed on the wall. I hate having to move furniture away from the wall just so I can use both items. You can do it in real life so why not in the game? I thought the room turned out quite cute and the colour scheme worked perfectly.
