The Style Boutique series features a variety of clothing styles/images and over the course of the series, some styles have been removed entirely from the game. One such style is the fabulous glam/flirty style which was last featured in New Style Boutique (known as Style Savvy: Trendsetters in NA and わがままファッション GIRLS MODE よくばり宣言! in JPN). The style was referred to as glam in the PAL version (EUR/AUS) and flirty in the NA version. A guide for all the items from the glam/flirty focused brand Miss Ribbon/Le Spark/ビスクマリー BiscMary can be found here. This guide will focus on glam/flirty themed items from other brands in New Style Boutique.
The following brands featured glam/flirty themed items: AZ-USA, Chorale, April Bonbon, Marzipan Sky, Marble Lily, Chorale Prelude and Raven Candle. The guide lists which brand contained glam/flirty themed items and how many colours the item was available in. All the items listed below are still available in the current game in the series which is New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star and they can still be found at the same brands.

The Japanese guide book to わがままファッション GIRLS MODE よくばり宣言! describes the style as princess gal and emphasises sexyness and cuteness. Items that can be found under the main brand feature floral patterns, a large amount of polka dots and bows everywhere! Camisoles are a key item for glam/flirty outfits and the brand had a large number of them. Here are examples of items from the brand as listed in the Japanese guide book.
The glam/flirty style was removed from the series after New Style Boutique/Trendsetters and was no longer featured in the next game Fashion Forward. The Miss Ribbon/Le Spark/ビスクマリー BiscMary is no longer available in the Style Boutique games and the items from that brand were divided in other brands within the game. This guide will detail all the items that were available from the Miss Ribbon/Le Spark/ビスクマリー BiscMary brand and the number of colours each item came in. You can also find which brand the item now belongs to in Styling Star, for example the Polka Dot Lace Camisole is now found at April Bonbon. Three new outfits for the final Shopdo update for August! The first outfit is a beautiful pastel themed feminine outfit to match the feminine interior of the boutique. I went with a yellow, green and blue toned outfit featuring items that had a pastel hue to them. The second outfit is a preppy inspired outfit which I built around this jacket from Brooke Bridge that I rarely use. I'm trying to use items more that I've never tried before and this outfit was a result of that. The final outfit is a glam/flirty inspired look titled Miss Glam after the defunct style from previous games. Went with a darker pink and black toned look for this glam outfit which is a step away from my usual purple glam outfits I love creating. Bit of a throwback here to the older games with an outfit from the glam/flirty style. This unique style was unfortuntaly removed in Fashion Forward but items still remain from the original brand Miss Ribbon and can be found at other brands such as AZ-USA. Whilst I wasn't a huge fan of the brand or style back in the day, I'm quite fond of it nowadays. Once you can find the perfect items that match, you can create some amazing outfits. For the glam outfit for the autumn lookbook, I went with a light purple colour scheme. I could not find any shoes that matched the outfit perfectly in my opinion, but I settled with these ones from AZ-USA as I thought they matched the black edging/piping on the clothing items. These new necklaces from AZ-USA are perfect for the style and give that layer look.
As older players of the game series will remember, there was once a glam/flirty themed brand called Miss Ribbon that featured fun and sassy items of clothing. Unfortunatly it was removed in Fashion Forward and we haven't seen it since. I wish I had used the brand more honestly as I remember not using it much in the original games. In the version of the game I played it was called Miss Ribbon and was under the glam image. I found it quite strange when I found out it was called flirty in Style Savvy as I would never match that word with the brand. You can still find items from Miss Ribbon in brands such as AZ-USA and they do blend in quite well with the brand.
So the theme for Day 5 is 'Bringing back the glam/flirty style!' The idea of this day is to create an outfit that reflects the removed style. I was actually extremely pleased with the outfit I created and I even wanted to keep wearing it as I loved it so much. I saved the outfit to my scrapbook so I would remember what it looked like. Went a bit overboard with the pink but it worked out quite well!
