Shopdo Update

This weekend was the Australia Day long weekend so it was great to have some days off after the busy Christmas and New Year period. And thankfully the weather cooled down because last week was a scorcher! It was almost 50 degrees but it totally felt like 50 if you went outside in the sun. 

Anyway I've kept the feminine boutique interior for a final week. Promise I'll change it for next weeks update once I figure out what look to try next. The first outfit of the bunch is this matching set from Chorale. I wanted to use these plaid inner and whilst I was searching for a bottom to use with it, I discovered it has a matching skirt. I never noticed this before! The second outfit is a gothic/baby-doll look since I haven't done one for a few weeks. Love the bold red tones and stripes on the pannier skirt. The final outfit is a girly look featuring beautiful tones. I think Styling Star has the best purple toned clothing items and I'm in love with this lilac purple tone. GIRLS MODE 3 キラキラ☆コーデ Book - Part 2

Last year, I made a post about the GIRLS MODE 3 キラキラ☆コーデ Book and shared some of the gorgeous photos of the books content. I recently got around to taking photos of all the other pages that I didn't share in the previous post so let's take a look! Next is the remainder of the brand pages that I didn't share last time. Don't the items from Cherry Berry look adorable. I love that name way more than April Bonbon. I'm a big fan of the Brooke Bridge page as well as it shows off some of the best items from the brand.

Pungdeng-E 4th Album 머물러줘 Stay - Album Review

I was listening to some Pungdeng-E songs this week, so I thought it would be nice to post another music review of the group. I got their 4th Album 머물러줘 Stay a while ago and seems like a good time to share the album. I had been after this album for a while and got it on sale on YesAsia which was super exciting!

Pungdeng-E's 4th Album 머물러줘 Stay

Stay is the 4th Album from the Korean group Pungdeng-E and was released in 2017. It is the most recent physical Korean release from the group and includes a number of tracks that have been previously released by the girls. The album is your standard K-Pop release design with a photobook and CD. The album comes with the following contents:

Front & back cover of 머물러줘 Stay

The front cover has a photo of the girls which I quite like. I'm always a fan of album covers with photos of the members. I find album covers with plain designs or logos a bit boring, I'd much rather have a photo. The current logo of the group is featured on the front cover which shows the beetle icon of the group. The one thing that amuses me about this album design is the way is says '4nd Album'. Like what? Such a strange error that even repeats on the spine and back cover. I actually noticed the other day that the spine of their Japanese single Stay says Tapy B. I laughed for ages when I noticed it. No clue why these bizarre spelling errors keep happening on Pungdeng-E releases. The back cover of the album lists the track listing and some production/copyright information about the album. The two new tracks from the group are highlighted as NEW with Stay being listed as the title track.

머물러줘 Stay is your typical K-Pop album design with the photobook stuck inside the album on the left side as usual. The CD is housed in a plastic casing which isn't the strongest. The punch clip part of mine was broken when it arrived. But I never have much luck with this style of holder with DVD cases and always have to swap them over at stores. The CD features the beetle logo of the group and has a similar colour aesthetic to the logo.

Shopdo Update

After last weeks bizarre line incident, I'm proud to announce this weeks outfits feature the extra lines haha. Sticking with the feminine theme another week because I've been so in love with it. The first outfit is a girly look in neutral brown tones and I couldn't resist using a cute boater as I've been super into them lately. I'm also trying to use more items from the top section so that's where I found this sweater top. The second outfit is a chic themed outfit as last weeks chic outfit was quite popular. I usually don't do chic outfits often on Shopdo because of the price but I had fun creating this weeks chic look. Enid Chen has some lovely matching items if you search for them. The third and final outfit is a feminine outfit to match the boutique and the outfit features a grey colour scheme. Colour Outfits Collection - Yellow

Continuing on with the Colour Outfits Collection in Styling Star in 2019 and this week, it's time for the yellow outfits. I quite like the yellow coloured items in the Style Boutique series and I've always felt the developers have done a good job including a range of yellow tones. It's not just your crazy bright yellow tones and you can find some lovely pieces in more dusty and deeper yellow tones.

From this outfit collection, I'd rank my favourites as girly, rock, chic and sporty. I just love the crop top in the girly outfit. I think it works really well with the short shorts and chunky heels. Stage Dive definitely has the best yellow toned items as I always go for them when I create rock outfits. Chic is one of my favourites because it matches and don't you just love when you find sets of items in the game. The silhouette is stunning that the chic outfit creates as well as the off-the-shoulder look. Sporty is another favourite because it's super cute and makes me miss the Streetflow brand.

kikki.K 2019 Sweet Weekly Diary Review

A new year means a new diary! In 2019, I shall be using the Weekly Diary from kikki.K in the Sweet design. Last year I had the same diary and I've posted a review of that one here for you to check out! The 2019 Sweet Weekly Diary has the same layout as last years diary and a new sweet style design has been used for the diary. The 2019 design features pastel themed designs themed around animals, house objects and activities. The colour tones for 2019 are beautiful blues, dusty pinks, browns and greys.

I brought my 2019 Diary back in October last year when it was available in a Festive Gift Set. In the set you got a few extra little goodies with the diary. Along with the diary, you get three magentic bookmarks featuring illustrations from the Sweet line and one black pen. I've tried out the pen and it's quite good quality. Not the type of pen I'd use all the time but it is comfortable and the ink flows well. I've been using it in my cash book along with one of the bookmarks. The bookmarks are amazing and so helpful in marking pages in my cash book and diary. The magnet is strong but not too heavy to pull the pages and they make a cute look when they peak out the top of the diary. All the items came in this luxious red box which I reused as packaging for a Christmas present.

Shopdo Update

You may notice something weird about one of this week's Shopdo Update outfits, it pretty obvious. It seems there is a black line running through the photo which is a glitch I've encountered before back in August last year. Whenever I selected the second outfit after I created it, it would bring up this line. I tried saving and reloading Shopdo but it kept appearing. A bit bizarre but we'll carry on. 

The first outfit for this week's Shopdo update is a chic style outfit featuring silver and grey tones. Hence the name Silver Streak. The second outfit is a girly style outfit featuring items from the Chorale and Chorale Prelude brands. I quite like this look as it's sophisticated yet still girly. Perfect for spring or autumn weather. The final outfit is a feminine look to match the boutique interior and I went with a green colour palette for this look. I'm really into plaid skirts at the moment in the Style Boutique series so used one of them in this outfit. Disney Magical World - Marvellous Memories

Even after having the game for a long time now, I still haven't been able to 100% complete Disney Magical World. I still have a number of season specific clothing items to unlock along with 6 cards to collect. Since I haven't been making much progress in either of those departments, I thought it would be nice to share some photos I have taken of my adventures in the game. Now you can save photos you take in Disney Magical World but you cannot transfer them from the game onto the 3DS. Such a silly system, like do they just save in game and not on the SD card like every other game. So I ended up just taking photos of the in-game photos on my phone so please excuse the terrible quality of the photos.

First off are my photos from seasonal events and I have to say Halloween has my favourite costumes in the game. I really wish you could get the main character (i.e. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc) costumes to craft. I had the same thought in Disney Magical World 2 as I loved their outfits at Halloween and New Years. Daisy has the best Halloween outfit and Minnie and Mickey have super adorable New Years outfits that they wear in game at the start of the New Year.

One Item Challenge - Chorale

I love these One Item Challenges that I have been doing in Styling Star. It's fun to try to make outfits from items that usually wouldn't fit into opposite images. This time we will be doing a challenge using one of my favourite new outers from the Chorale brand. The item is the Frilly Collarless Jacket in the light blue colour.

First off here is the feminine outfit for the item. These jumpsuits are another new item to Styling Star that I adore. When I first saw them, I was instantly obsessed. I usually don't use the jumpsuit style items in game but these ones have the perfect fit and look stunning in the pastel tones.

Here are the rest of the looks for the One Item Challenge. My personal favourites would be glam, preppy and eastern. Preppy is the number one look for me out of the bunch. It just turned out so amazing! Love the mix of the light and dark shades of blue and the pleated check skirt. Think I'll have to try this look out again in the future. Glam is another fave due to the vibrant print of the dress and with eastern, I thought the jacket made the outfit look a bit more sophisticated and gave a nice feminine touch to the eastern inspired look.

Style Boutique 2 Room Address Update: Pink Bedroom

2019 is here and so is a new room available for download in New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward. I've decided to go with a simple design this month and have uploaded a cute Pink Bedroom room. Here's a picture of the room which features adorable girly and baby-doll themed miniatures. You can download the room in Style Boutique 2 at the room address 180-239-9851.

One of the inspirations for this room was the first room I designed in Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward which was a girly bedroom. I have a picture of it on my Types Of Rooms Guide on my Fashion Forward Guide blog. For this room, I wanted to go for a more pastel/dusty pink vibe with some pops of colour. I think Fashion Forward had a great selection of pastel themed miniatures and some super cute beds! I can understand why they removed the beds in Styling Star because it doesn't seem like something you'd put in a boutique.

Shopdo Update

Loving the feminine theme of my current boutique on Shopdo in Styling Star. This week features another round of sophisticated feminine themed outfits in three different colour schemes. The first is a brown toned outfit featuring a check print skirt and oversized jumper. I love this look as it features a number of my favourites styles - collar top with a bow, oversized jumper with pockets and a check preppy style skirt. The second outfit is a purple themed outfit which includes these shorts I've never really used from Chorale. I always avoid these as I'm not a huge fan of large diamond check print, I'm more into stripes. The outfit looks gorgeous though with the lilac purple tones and hints of dark purple. The final outfit is a nautical grey themed outfit as I wanted to go with a more casual look and I've been wanting to try out these anchor print inners for a while now. I think grey tones are amazing and wear them a lot in real life. These pants from Chorale are one of my top items from the brand because they always remind me of these pants I had many years ago that I adored. I wore them so much that the denim fabric wore out and holes started to appear. You know you love pants when that happens. Crayon Pop 4th Single 빠빠빠 Bar Bar Bar - Single Review

A few weeks ago, I received a very special CD in the post from one of my favourite groups so it's time for a review. The CD is Crayon Pop's 4th Single Album 빠빠빠 Bar Bar Bar and I was over the moon to get my hands on it. The single can be hard to come across as not many copies were printed and it has been out of print for years. I couldn't believe it when I found a copy of the single in Japan for super cheap! So let's take a look at the single!

Crayon Pop's 4th Single 빠빠빠 Bar Bar Bar

 빠빠빠Bar Bar Bar is the group's 4th single and was released in 2013. The single had a limited run of copies and can be easier to come across than the group's earlier singles which are mainly promo copies. The single is about the size of a small book and is your standard K-Pop style release with a photobook stuck inside the hardbook cover. The single comes with the following contents:

• Photobook - 23 Pages

빠빠빠 Bar Bar Bar back cover

The front cover of the single features the dragon design which the group used to promote the single. There is some text about the group's name and single title on the front as well. The back cover has the same dragon design but printed in a lighter grey tone to blend into the background. The 2 tracks of the single are listed along with production information at the bottom. The spine lists the group's name and title of the single. My used copy of the single came with a plastic sleeve cover which I always appreciate. People always ask me if I've listened to CD's that had plastic covers on them and I reply that I have, I'm just obsessed with having the plastic on them to protect them. Like of course I've taken the CD out to listen to it, that's the whole point of buying a CD haha.

빠빠빠 Bar Bar Bar Single

Upon opening the single, you will find the photobook and CD. The dragon design is feature on the CD as well as the background behind it. I quite like the design of this CD as it matches the design of the single and the placement of the Hangul and single title is perfect. Nice plastic casing to hold the CD in place and it wasn't damaged in shipping. The photobook is on the left hand side of the interior and has a thick spine to it. It's one of those photobooks that is hard to hold the pages open because of the spine so I was careful not to damage any of the pages.
