Gaming
Amazingly I didn't play much video games this month. A bit of Style Boutique here and there to update my Shopdo but I don't recall playing it much. All the posts on the blog this month were a back log of images I had from the game. I did however make some new outfits on teh Design Centre which I need to post on here. Here's a sneak peak at one of them!
Music
Big month music wise. I got a large order from Japan but it's not quite ready yet to post on here as some of the CD's absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke when I got them. So I've been using some techniques to make them smell better and I think there working so far. I did get some albums and singles in good condition or brand new. Picked up CLC's Japanese releases from Tower Records which I'm super happy about. I brought the two I didn't get from Tower Records second hand the other day so I'm excited to receive those soon. Here's some of the songs I've been listening to this month!
Sewing
Made another dress from the Simplicity 1419 pattern which I've posted about before on here. I had some random scraps of fabric that weren't enough for one whole project by themselves so I combined all the pieces together to form one dress. I love making that pattern as it's so easy now that I've done it a few times and it only took a few days when I had the time off work. Right now I'm working on a new pattern I haven't made before which is the Simplicity 8415. I'm making view D in this gorgeous denim flower print fabric I brought years ago at Spotlight. Looks pretty easy to make and hoping to get a large chunk of it done this weekend.
In other news, I recently updated to a new Fitbit! Previously I had the Fitbit Alta which was great because the slim size fitted on my wrist and the screen was easy to read. I was thinking about upgrading to something more advanced for ages and finally decided to go ahead when I realised all my workmates had smart watches and saw how useful they were. I got a Fitbit Versa just today so I'm interested to try it out and see how it helps my lifestyle. I'm pretty active and wanted a smart watch to help log information and keep to date. I got the rose gold one which is gorgeous and one of my favourite colours. Normally I'm not a rose gold person but it looks rather elegant with this design. I did get a screen case/protector for it in gold for work as I'm all about gold jewellery at the moment.
