100 Outfit Challenge Day 67: Orange

Now orange is a colour I feel I don't much in real life and can't think of any clothing item's I own that are orange. I guess the colour doesn't suit me or I just don't see items in this colour in the shop much. I've done an Orange Colour Collection post previously which had many successful outfits. For my latest orange inspired look, I went with this psychedelic look featuring this fun mod style dress from Retrobeat. I quite like how these shoes from AZ-USA turned out with the outfit and totally fit the retro theme.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 66: Over $300

A quick question for all Style Boutique fans regarding today's theme, do you feel there could be more expensive clothing in the game? I wish their was another expensive brand that specialised in formal attire such as dresses and accessories. Kinda like a prom or wedding focused brand. I feel Enid Chen doesn't cover the formal dress area well enough as the dresses feel a bit too similar to me. Anyway today's theme is about creating an outfit from items that cost more than $300. I just used the price search feature to find the items and I'm happy with the result. I never knew this outer from Purple Moon would match Enid Chen items so well. This might be one of new favourite chic style outfits as it's so elegant and stylish.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 65: Dance Dance Dance

Exciting theme for today's outfit with a dance inspired ensemble. I named the theme after an E-girls song of the same name which is one of my favourite tracks from their E.G. Crazy album. There is one brand that comes to mind when I think dance floor and that's Retrobeat. I've really come to love this brand in Styling Star and I'm disappointed I didn't use the brand more in previous games. I think the brand got some amazing new items in Styling Star and that really lifted up it's game. I went for a blue/purple toned outfit for the dance theme and hit the dance floor for the photo shoot. This t-shirt from Retrobeat seems to be the one I use the most as it's quite versatile and matches a number of items from the brand.

100 Outfit Challenge Day 64: Camo Print

A bit of a unique theme for day 64 which is camo print! So that means an outfit from AZ-USA of course as it's home to the camo print! I went with some three-quarter cargo pants as they just scream camo to me and the brand has some excellent pairs to choose from. Not a look I would use normally and definitely not something I'd wear in real life. My days of camo print are way in the past back in the early 2000's and honestly the print just doesn't suit me. I've seen it around a bit recently in clothes shops so hey, someone out there can pull it off.

August Favourites

It's the first of September finally so that means it is spring at last! The weather is still taking it's time to warm up with some cold days still floating about. I feel like I just posted my August Favourites so I don't have much to talk about this month. It's mainly the same old same old for me with just music and gaming so let's take a look shall we?

Gaming
A few weeks ago, I got a new order from Zenmarket of some J-Pop stuff as well as the guide book for わがままファッション GIRLS MODE よくばり宣言! (also known as New Style Boutique in EUR/AUS and Style Savvy: Trendsetters in NA). I've been wanting to collect this book for a while now and found one used for cheap that was in excellent condition. I'll talk about it more in haul post in the future, but here's a quick photo of the book in all it's glory.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has been keeping me entertained once again this month. I feel like we've had a billion events recently! Like one finishes and another starts straight away! Literally no break in between them. I'm enjoying them though and have completed the last few event sets. I mainly did the last one cause I wanted this silly pig thing from the fishing tourney. Look at adorable Bob admiring the campsite!

Music
This month has felt like I've literally only been listening to FEMM's FEMM-Isation album because it's the best thing ever! There's few albums that I enjoy all the tracks on and this is definitely one of those. Always trying to skip through songs on shuffle to find the FEMM ones. I mainly use shuffle on my car stereo because it's one of those new ones that doesn't like playing songs in order so I just use shuffle. As I mentioned before, I got a bunch of J-Pop stuff from Zenmarket that I'll post soon as well as my CDJapan haul I posted recently. Here's a bunch of songs I've been loving in August to round off this post!

Shopdo Update

Another Shopdo Update and another week of rock themed outfits! The first outfit for this week is this crazy rock style outfit featuring these bizarre pants from Stage Dive. Do people really use these? I never do because they are so strange. Thought I'd try them out for a change and paired them with some other fluro items. The second outfit is a stylish preppy look with a rock feel. It's more of a fashion model rock look than performance outfit and I quite like it. The tones of grey worked well together and looks rather stylish. Final outfit is a gothic coordinate with a rock feel. I really wanted to use this jacket from Raven Candle as it felt perfect for the style and it worked well. 100 Outfit Challenge Day 63: Baby-Doll

September is finally here which means it is finally spring! Thank heavens as I am way over this cold winter however it's still lingering around a bit this week and we've had some freezing cold days in the last week. For my first outfit of spring, I've gone with a baby-doll inspired look as that is a style I've yet to cover. This outfit is very much in line with the new items present in Styling Star. I used a few new items in the outfit as well as some old favourites such as this beret from Marble Lily. This coordinate is perfect for that spring EGL meetup or a lovely walk through the gardens.
