Shopdo Update

Here is the new set of outfits for this weeks Shopdo update! I felt like making a bold outfit for something different as I haven't done one for a little while. Used my favourite pants from AZ-USA of course as I love the vibrant colours. Second outfit is a girly outfit featuring yellow and black colour tones. I quite liked this dress and wanted to build an outfit around that. The final outfit is a quick baby-doll look I threw together. The pattern on the dress matches the sweet theme of the boutique perfectly! Loving this tone of purple as well, especially the tights and shoes! Animal Crossing Pocket Camp: Play Journal

For about the last month or two, I've been playing some Animal Crossing Pocket Camp. I know it's been out for ages but I had avoided getting it as it didn't look too interesting to me. However my workmate convinced me to download it and give it a try. Turns out it's pretty cute and fun! There is a fair amount of micro-transaction stuff but I tend to ignore that. I'll share some photos from my adventures in the app!

Here is my campsite from when I first started the game. It still looks pretty boring as I haven't crafted many items for it as I can't decide what kinda theme to use for it. Reece and Cyrus look so adorable in Pocket Camp! I originally choose pink hair for my character but I've since changed it to the normal brown I usually use. One of the first things I did in the game was change the clothes on my character once I unlocked a good outfit. Can't stand my character look stylish and boring.

Can I just say how adorable Goldie is? She is my fave villager so far (mainly cause Frita hasn't appeared haha). She is just so cute when she visits your campsite. I've had her there the entire time and probably will never make her leave. Her friendship is the highest so far as I tend to interact with her the most and unlock everything she requests. 

The animations that show up when you interact with villagers are great! I hope the switch version has stuff like this and great graphics as well. I just have a Oppo F1s which isn't a high end phone but the app looks great on it! I'd love to upgrade to maybe a R17 Pro one day or whatever Oppo releases as I quite like their phones and they quite reliable.

There was a special Nintendo themed Fishing Tourney event on a while ago and this was the first event I did. I quite enjoy the events and they are the only thing I've really focused on in the game. The time limits are a bit annoying though to try to unlock everything but I guess that's because they want to you to spend money on the game with those leaf ticket things. I unlocked quite a large number of the Nintendo themed items but I only used them for the HH thing as I tend to not use Nintendo decorations in my houses in the series. Loved the themed fish though, so adorable and quirky!

Rosie is another cutie in the game. I accidentally clicked change outfit but I haven't done it yet because this tee is so Rosie. Honestly I think she's one of the best designed villagers in the series. I've always thought her colour palette and design is perfect and matches her personality perfectly. May have had her in my New Leaf down once and I do recall having her in Wild World for a while.

Shopdo Update

Totally forgot to do an Easter themed Shopdo this year! I was just happy to have a four day weekend off from work that I didn't even think about it when I did the recent update. Anyway I've kept the adorable sweet theme for another week which is kinda close to Easter in a small way. The first outfit for this week is a lively themed outfit featuring some pastel tones. Love these outers from April Bonbon and just had to use one. Second outfit is a mash up of baby-doll and girly and I went with a basic pink and blue toned look for this one. I've made similar outfits to this in the past so it's nothing exciting. The final look is a casual psychedelic/girly outfit that I quickly put together. I think it's cute, I'd totally wear it. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! I went to one of the main chocolate factories in town and it was quite busy. Was very sensible and only brought some chocolate frogs and nothing else. I always buy their frogs as the favours are amazing! The banana one is the best because it's so strange and delicious! You could also buy like a 1 kg bag of lolly bananas which was tempting but even I couldn't eat that many and I love lolly bananas.

Colour Outfits Collection - Purple

Still trying to get through the backlog of pictures I have from Style Boutique so here is another Colour Outfits Collection. This time it;s the colour purple and I actually took these pictures last year so I've totally forgot what outfits I made. Purple has always been a favourite colour of mine in the Style Boutique series as each brand tends to have a number of great items in different shades of purple. I tend to use purple outfits a lot on my character and at the boutique as they always look stylish. All the outfits in this challenge turned out great and my top faves would be bold, boho-chic, feminine and psychedelic.

Shopdo Update

Here is this week's Shopdo Update and the sweet themed boutique is back for another week. With the first outfit, I was feeling a bit green so I made this girly ensemble. It's not perfect but I like the tones in the jacket and skirt. Next is a baby-doll look because why not! I went with one of the bear themed coordinates in the red/dark pink tones as I thought that reminded me of candy. Lastly is a pink feminine outfit that is pretty casual. New Style Boutique Play Journal - Beginner Contest Outfits

I've collected together some snapshots of all my beginner contest outfits from New Style Boutique. Boy I miss Fashion Shows in the series, Styling Star is so boring without them. There's no challenge anymore and the fun is gone of trying to find the perfect five star outfit. I had fun with the beginner contest and it's pretty easy to pass all of them. You can pretty much tell from these photos that you just get themes/styles to work with and you create an outfit based off them. The girly looking outfits would be favourite as that's my main style and the leather jackets always look stylish! Which look is your favourite?

Shopdo Update - Sweet Shop Boutique

After what seems like a billion years, I finally have a new interior for Shopdo! I went with a candy/sweet shop inspired look this time and made some cute pastel themed outfits to match. All the outfits have sweet themed names just for fun too. First is this baby-doll outfit inspired by an outfit I recently posted in my Outfit Comparisons post. I changed up a few things in the outfit but it's still as cute as ever. Next is the girly outfit which is similar to some outfits I've posted on Shopdo before. Just thought it matched the pastel sweet theme of the boutique so I kept it as an outfit. Lastly is a lively look featuring one of the sweets tees from April Bonbon. Now for a look at my new delicious boutique! I was going for a sweet shop look mixed with a boutique. Love the gumball machine miniature, glad it made a return in Styling Star. I made sure to place lots of food and candy themed miniatures around the room as well to fit the theme.
