Decided to keep the eastern interior of the boutique this week as I'm quite fond of it at the moment. The first outfit actually ties in with the eastern theme! I went with this casual look for the style and the outfits features various green tones. I called it Cherry Invaders as I thought the print on the cardigan kinda looked like Space Invaders. The second outfit is a psychedelic one that is one of my favourite outfits I've designed in recent months. I was never a fan of these skirts from Retrobeat until Styling Star and now I'm obsessed with them. This outfit is a mash-up of various black and white toned patterned items. The Retrobeat brand has some great items that look amazing together once you pick a colour scheme. Titled this outfit Pop Pop Pop which was inspired by one of my favourite K-Pop groups Crayon Pop. The final outfit is a baby-foll one as they are always popular. First I picked this flower print inner and built the rest of the outfit around that. I think it's quite cute and would look just as cute in real life. I called it Roses and Bunnies after the print on the dress and the handbag. So if you play Style Boutique, you can visit my Shopdo at ID 0006271056!

Animal Crossing New Leaf Play Journal - Bubbles & Badges
I've been playing a little Animal Crossing New Leaf recently so it's time for a play journal about my adventures in the game. Firstly Canberra wanted to move out of my town so I stopped her from doing it as she's one of my favourites. A villager told me she was thinking of moving so I kept walking past her to try to get the ping thing so she'd ask for permission. After about two days, I finally got the ping action and I got her to stay in Sunbury.
I don't really use streetpass anymore in ACNL as I have the highest streetpass badge so I don't need them that much. But I took a trip to the Happy Home Showcase recently to see what was new and came across this cute snowman themed room. Streetpass is quite common where I live so you can always come across amazing houses from players.
Picked up a bubble blower accessory at the Happy Home plaza so then I just ran around my town blowing bubbles everywhere! Here's some pictures of my character at some of the town project locations around my town. I will do a town projects post soon as I have a large amount in my town. You can always visit my town at the Dream Address 7A00-004D-AD3C from the Dream Suite.

Outfit Of The Day - Stripey Style
Now that I'm not posting a Styling Star challenge for a little while, I can start posting the backlog of outfit posts I have. So here is an outfit that my character was wearing last month. The outfit falls under the feminine theme and I built the outfit around this stripey knit dress from Chorale. From there, I used items that matched the colours in the dress such as the lavender for the shoes and pink for the hat. Well I just wanted to use this beret really as it's one of my favourite items. I wish you could wear bracelets or watches on both hands just like how you can wear bows and hair accessories on either or both sides of your head.

kikki.K 2018 Diary Review
Since it is now halfway through 2018, I thought it was the perfect time to write a review of the diary I have been using this year. For years I used a Rilakkuma scheduler from Taiwan bu unfortunately they stopped making the item so for 2018 I had to find an alternative. This year I've been trying out a new diary from the kikki.K brand and it's just perfect.
The diary I have been using is the 2018 Diary from the Sweet line which was available late last year through kikki.K. Usually I don't shop at kikki.K as it's on the pricier side stationery wise but I needed to get a diary quickly and ended up there. The day I went they were having 20% everything store wide so I picked the diary up for a good deal. I went with the larger sized one as I wanted plenty of space to write in. Whilst I loved the Rilakkuma schedulers, they were quite small and not much room to write more than a few words in some sections.

Shopdo Update - Eastern Style Interior
First Shopdo update for the month of June! I decided to switch up the interior as I was a bit bored of the basic style interior from last week. This weeks interior is inspired by the eastern style in the game and I have at least one outfit available from the catalogue that matches the new interior.
So first we'll look at the new outfits available in the catalogue! The first outfit is a vibrant pink coloured eastern style outfit. I'm in love with these new gradient print skirts from Kanokoi so I decided to use one of those in the outfit. For the shoes, I went with the classic boots from the Kanokoi brand, big fan of these as well. For the name, I was a bit unimaginative and named it after an E-girls song. The second outfit is a baby-doll look as I haven't had one available in the catalog for a few weeks. Went with one of my favourite looks in the game which is this starry night style dress from Marble Lily. It's a simple yet stylish outfit featuring only a few items. The name Deep Blue Sky was inspired by the print on the dress. For the final outfit I went with a preppy look called University Time. I built the outfit around one of the new outers from Brooke Bridge which are also one of my favourite new items in Styling Star. So if you play the EUR/AUS version of the game (Style Boutique), be sure to visit my Shopdo at ID 0006271056.
Here is the new eastern style interior of my boutique! It took a few attempts to get a good layout as I wasn't happy with how the shelves and hangers were placed. Some of the items don't match as well as I would like but I just tried to work with the items that were eastern style specific. There wasn't a counter that matched the style perfectly so I just used this black one as the other furniture had black tones in them. The clothing miniatures section is lacking with eastern style items. It only has the cheongsam style dresses in a few colours for items that can be placed on a display stand and the one jacket in different colours that can be hung on a rack. Eastern has such a small selection for these types of clothing display items so it was a tad difficult to get a bit of variety into the interior. The smaller clothing miniatures have items such as t-shirts, bows, flats and bags so I tried to use those to place on counters and tables.

CocoSori 愛しのマーメイド Itoshi no Mermaid - Single Review (Type B Edition)
Quirky K-Pop group CocoSori have only released one Japanese single, but it is one amazing single! The girls released their debut Japanese single 愛しのマーメイド Itoshi no Mermaid in 2016. I have a copy of the single so I thought I'd do a quick review of it.
愛しのマーメイド Itoshi no Mermaid was released by duo CocoSori in August 2016. The single was released exclusively by Tower Records in Japan and was only available through their online or physical store. The single came in two editions: Type A and Type B. Type A only came with the title song 愛しのマーメイド Itoshi no Mermaid and the instrumental. Type B included 愛しのマーメイド Itoshi no Mermaid and the original Korean version of the girls Korean single Exquisite. I got a copy of Type B of the single and boy was it difficult to get hold of. Originally I ordered it through YesAsia as they had is listed as for sale. My order got cancelled so I switched to Type A, but that got cancelled again. Turns out they never actually had it for sale and it was only available through Tower Records at the time. Luckily I knew someone who lived in Japan and they brought a copy of the single for me which was absolutely lovely.
The single comes in a jewel case and only comes with the CD and a lyrics booklet. No OBI or photobook in either type of the single. The design of the single is beautiful and has a seaside theme to the photos. The CocoSori logo is printed in the group's style from that time period (the logo was changed for the Mi Amor comeback). The front and back covers feature stunning photos of Coco and Sori as does the interior of the CD case. The actual CD has a picture of the girls strolling along the beach. This is one of the more unique CD designs I've seen from K-Pop and J-Pop ones.

May Favourites & Blog Update
The last day of May brings the end of Autumn and soon the beginning of winter. However it's been freezing cold here recently so it could've been winter already. Nicer weather the past few days, so hopefully it stays that way for a little while. Anyway, time for my monthly favourites! I've also written a little update on the blog at the end of this post about my plans for future posts.
Gaming
Goes without saying, been playing New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star of course! Managed to get a few new customers in my boutique recently and I've seen the chased the story line girls off for a while thankfully. Besides Style Boutique, I'm still grinding away at Disney Magical World trying to craft all the items. I'm stuck at the moment trying to obtain rare items like the Rainbow Clover and Fairy Diamond Bubbles to make some items. Other than that, I collected all the Easter set and just waiting for other holidays later this year to get more items for the 100% collection. I took this funny photo from the game that I thought was amusing as it wasn't Easter in the game anymore. Easter started in-game after Easter had occurred in the real world. Excuse the camera photo as you cannot move photos from the game off the 3DS as they aren't stored on the SD Card.
Besides 3DS games, I'm looking forward to a game on Steam called House Flipper. It was released recently, but I'm waiting till it comes on sale during one of the many Steam sales to pick it up. I find it quite fascinating and interesting as the game lets you basically remodelled a house and decorate the interior. Sounds right up my alley!
Music
Got a bunch of new singles and albums this month which I've posted about before so I've been listening to them. Besides those, I've really been into E-girls latest release Showtime. Haven't got the new album just yet as I'm saving up to get the top version, but I've been streaming the album on Spotify. No stand out faves just yet, but Showtime is definitely on that list.
Another song I've been into this month was (G)Idle's debut song Latata. Loved it from the first listen! Looking forward to seeing what their future releases are like and I need to make time to listen to their debut album as I've seen people raving about it.
There's a few more new tracks that came out this month that I haven't had a chance to listen to yet like AOA's new release Bingle Bangle. Really need to work on getting some new music on my MP3 so I can listen to them at the gym and in the car.
Television
This month I've been super invested in watching Produce 101 China. I'm so obsessed with this show and personally I prefer this version over the Korean one (season 1). I find the China one is a bit more positive and less drama. My fave girl so far is Gao Qiuzi because of her upbeat personality and hilarious antics. Plus she's actually quite talented in singing and dancing. I'm actually quite fond of all the girls on a show so it's hard to narrow down my top faves. Yamy and Sunhee are pretty cool and I've become more interested in Meiqi who is from WJSN. I'll definitely need to look her past performances up! I've linked the theme song MV below and be sure to look up the episodes (they are subbed too) if you are interested in watching this amazing show.
