I've been playing a little Animal Crossing New Leaf recently so it's time for a play journal about my adventures in the game. Firstly Canberra wanted to move out of my town so I stopped her from doing it as she's one of my favourites. A villager told me she was thinking of moving so I kept walking past her to try to get the ping thing so she'd ask for permission. After about two days, I finally got the ping action and I got her to stay in Sunbury.
I don't really use streetpass anymore in ACNL as I have the highest streetpass badge so I don't need them that much. But I took a trip to the Happy Home Showcase recently to see what was new and came across this cute snowman themed room. Streetpass is quite common where I live so you can always come across amazing houses from players.
Picked up a bubble blower accessory at the Happy Home plaza so then I just ran around my town blowing bubbles everywhere! Here's some pictures of my character at some of the town project locations around my town. I will do a town projects post soon as I have a large amount in my town. You can always visit my town at the Dream Address 7A00-004D-AD3C from the Dream Suite.

Animal Crossing New Leaf - Badge Collection
Thought I'd share my badge collection I have in Animal Crossing New Leaf. Now I've been playing since the game came out in 2013 and I've got quite a few badges in my collection. However it's nowhere near 100% complete at the moment. So far I've got 14 gold, 7 silver, 2 bronze and one not obtained yet.
First I'll list the gold badges I have obtained. I only recently got a few of these as I focused on getting them in the game. These were ones such as catching 1000 sea creatures/food, K.K. Slider performances and sending letters. I didn't attend K.K. Slider shows much as I used to work saturday nights and would miss it. So what I did to get the badge quickly was to attend multiple shows in one night and it still counts. Same thing with the letters, I would send about 16 letters a day. I bet my villagers got tired of receiving letters that always said 'I'm trying to send 200 letters so here's another letter so I get closer to 200'. With the streetpass badge, I know some players have difficulty getting that one. I had no toruble as I live in a location where people always have their ACNL streetpass turned on and I attend streetpass events like meet-ups and conventions. It didn't take that long to get, but it was a pain clearly through streetpasses at conventions where I would get about 300 streetpasses a day.
I have 7 silver badges in total and some of these will be staying at silver for a long time as the amount you need to jump from silver to gold is huge! I was surprised when I got the 2000 weeds one, but I'm never going to get the 5000 needed for the gold. The trick to getting the weed badge is to plant heaps of flowers at the beach and do not have the beautiful ordinance on for your town. Pull up the flowers when they are wilting because they count as weeds! I've kinda given up on the medalist one as it took me forever to get 1500 medals as I don't like the tours much and I had to grind at one that gave you 16 medals each time for ages. For the dream addresses visits, I usually do this when I'm watching streams or movies because it's so time consuming to visit dreams. I just select random ones to visit, but it still takes forever to get through all the menu screens.
There's only 2 bronze badges in my collection and these are ones I haven't really tired much with. Honestly I never even touched the turnip trade until recently as I just didn't have the time or interest to by investing in it. I used to use turnips all the time in Wild World and it was hectic trying to keep track. I find turnips difficult as sometimes I don't get time to check the price twice a day with my schedule. Luckily one day I got lucky and my friends town was buying turnips for 417 bells! Made quite a bit of profit that day and I'm quite close to the silver badge by my tracker I keep for badges (more on that later). With the hostess one, I never had many people visit my town besides friends occasionally. I do appreciate how you check how many visitors by sitting on the tree as I would have no clue what the number would be without that. Last time I checked it was 57 but I've had a few visits since so I think it's around 70 now maybe.
The only badge I am currently missing is the badge for visiting other towns. I believe I am getting close to the bronze badge which is 100 visits. I'm teaming up with someone in my local Nintendo club to earn the badge as well as the hostess badge. We are taking turns at visiting each other's towns to up the numbers. I had visited towns over the last few years, but who knows how many that was. I doubt it was higher than 20 or 30 visits as I didn't play online much. Hopefully I should get it by the end of the year as we only meet up once a month.

September Favourites
The end of September is almost here so I thought I'd post a list of some of my favourite things from this month!
Gaming
Recently I got Disney Magical World and I've been playing it during my free time. I've got the second one which I've almost finished and the first one is quite different from the second. It's a lot more challenging trying to get items to craft items so it's taking a while to get anywhere in the game. I'm up to about 35 stickers so far which isn't too bad.
Music
Got a few new albums this month which were mainly j-pop ones. Other than that, I've been getting back into music I used to listen to before I got in kpop and jpop. Been on an 80's kick recently so I've been listening to Icehouse, Pet Shop Boys and Eurythmics. The radio plays at the place I work and it's always exciting when they play what they call 'old school music'. Now I wouldn't call 2011 old school, but when they start playing hits from 2006, it takes me back to listening to the same songs back in senior school.
Movies
I don't get to the movies too often considering I work next to one, but I managed to make it there this month. It was the 20th anniversary of Spiceworld this year and cinemas around the country where airing it to celebrate. I went to the screening the other night and it was amazing! I hadn't seen a movie in this particular cinema room (I usually go to ones in the smaller cinemas) but it was awesome to see it on the biggest screen the cinema has. It was really fun and I enjoyed feeling like I was back in the 1990's as a kid singing along to the hits of the Spice Girls.
Books
Haven't had the chance to read too many books this month, but at the start of September I did read Scooter Girl. Originally I had seen it in a local comic shop when I was in there with friends. However I came across it at my library so I thought I'd hire it to read and I really enjoyed it! The story was interesting and I loved the mod feel to the story and characters.
