Honestly this Colour Outfit Collection for the colour gold was the hardest one that I've done. Turns out most brands don't have many gold toned items. Sometimes they had none at all! It seems Purple Moon has quite a lot so I ended up using a number of Purple Moon items for styles such as Baby-Doll and Boho-Chic.
For the gold outfits, I'd say my favourites would be gothic, bold, lively and glam. Gothic is a top contender because of the stylish dress with the gorgeous EGL style print. Bold and glam are very similar outfits and both have that sassy feel to them. I listed the lively outfit as one of my top outfits because I thought it perfectly described the lively image. It's vibrant, fun and has pops of colour.
How on earth did we get to the end of March so quick? I was filling in some forms the other day and asked someone for the date which was the 28th. We were both shocked at how it was the 28th of the month already! Anyway here is my monthly favourites for March! Gaming Haven't played my 3DS for a while as I've kinda been burnt out on Style Boutique recently and not as passionate about playing it. Maybe a break will help and I'll get back into the game again. I'm just so let down by the post-main story line content as I literally cannot work at my boutique anymore as the only customers I ever get are the side story girls like Molly. Doesn't matter how far ahead I go int he game or how many times I complete their story lines, they are the only ones that ever appear. So frustrating and it has really put me off the game. My workmate got me into Animal Crossing Pocket Camp recently and I've been playing it here and there. It's so adorable and the graphics are stunning. I don't take it too seriously and only really fulfil requests and catch stuff. The current event with growing flowers for Katie is quite cute and I've been enjoying that.
Music Big month music wise as I have two packages on the way and received one order from Zenmarket this month. I'm waiting for Dream Ami's new Japanese single Good Goodbye and E-girls Celebration from CDJapan. This will be my first time trying out the site and I got a poster with the Dream Ami single so I'm excited to see it when it arrives. Also on the way should be Hong Jin Young's new album, MOMOLAND's 2nd Mini Album Freeze and myB's DdoDdo single. Waiting for the later one to come into stock on YesAsia so hopefully it ships soon. I did get some exciting releases from Zenmarket which I must post about. I finally completed my Japanese CLC collection which is great as it's something I've wanted for years. Song wise I've been listening to quite a few tracks. MOMOLAND released a new song both in Korean and Japanese in recent weeks. Personally I hated the Korean one and much prefer the Japanese one. I held off getting the new Korean mini album for now and will just get one of the Japanese versions. I wasn't too interested in the other tracks on the mini album so I decided to buy Freeze instead which I was missing from my collection.
As mentioned in the last Shopdo Update, I am now posting my weekly update on Sundays now. It works much easier with my schedule and gives me time to post the update on time rather than almost forgetting it on a Monday night. I've still got the psychedelic interior as I just haven't bothered changing it yet but I've had fun making the outfits for it. The first outfit for this week is a rock outfit since I haven't had one of those for a long time. Kinda a basic looking thing but fits with the psychedelic theme. The second outfit is a psychedelic look of course featuring my favourite outer from Retrobeat. Went with a green and blue scheme this time which is kinda boring compared to the brighter colours. Lastly is a outfit that was featured in one of my challenges way back and I recently remembered from my Scrapbook. Still one of the best outfits I've made in Styling Star. Lately I've been discovering that a number of items in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star are part of a set and match with other items from the same brand. I decided to investigate this further and went searching through the different brands for items that were part of a set. I found quite a few and took some photos of them. My favourite outfit sets would have to be the check shorts and outer from Marzipan Sky, the camisole and shorts set from Soy, and the flower print ensemble from AZ-USA. I'm also quite fond of the black check set from Chorale as it reminds me of the bags you would get from a department store called David Jones. Their logo used to look like this exact print years ago, I don't remember what the bags look like now as the store is quite expensive to shop at. All these sets are available in different colours as well and I decided to only use one set from Marble Lily and Raven Candle as those brands have heaps of sets which most players would be aware of.
Quick Shopdo update for this week and I've got three fun outfits available at my boutique. The first is a bright blue baby-doll look. This one was a weird one as I mainly wanted to use this inner and found a bright coloured skirt to match. The second outfit is a simple girly look featuring one of those heart bolero things I never use. I swear this is like the first time I've used one in forever. Lastly is a psychedelic look to match the boutique interior. Went with a dark pink toned outfit as I love this colour in the game. From next week I'll be switching the updates from Monday to Sunday. Originally when I started doing the weekly updates, I didn't work Mondays but my work schedule changed last year and I've been having trouble trying to upload on Mondays as I'm busy from work. So the updates will now take place on Sundays or occasionally Saturdays if my Sundays are booked up. Time for another One Item Challenge and I've gone with Purple Moon this time round. I went with a pretty basic item from the brand as I wanted something verstitle to work with. I used the WARS T-Shirt which is an item you get from Alina during the main story line. It's just a basic black tee with the WARS logo on it. I thought it would work well with different styles and colours. Sporty, feminine and psychedelic would be my top outfits from this challenge. I was surprised that the feminine otufit turned out so nicely considering the T-shirt isn't what you'd usually find under the style. Sporty looks cool as usual and I loved the colour combinations and prints in the psychedelic outfit. Purple Moon
This week for Shopdo I've decided to add in some new styles to my psychedelic themed boutique. Usually I've been doing three psychedelic themed outfits but this week I've thrown in lively and girly outfits as well. The first outfit is Icecream Sundae which belongs to the lively theme. Went for a pastel look for this one and it's a bit more casual than the over the top psychedelic looks. The second outfit is a crazy outfit from Retrobeat of course. I love these skirts from the brand and wish I had them in real life! The final outfit is a cute girly themed one to mix it up a bit. These are my favourite pants from Marzipan Sky and they work great with this outer.
