Outfit Of The Day - My Favourite

OMG I've been trying to get on my computer for ages to post on the blog however life just kept getting in the way. So the main goal for today was to sit down and get a post online! Going with something simple which is of course an outfit from Fashion Dreamer! The title basically covers the theme of this outfit which is my favourite look. Honestly this combination of items is one of my go-to's in dress-up games and I love trying to recreate it in each new game. I love everything about it and the best thing is you can create it in any colour! This look is in brown tones as it matches a preppy style and my natural hair colour. Lots of plaid in this look and went with my favourite shoe and sock combination. This has been done a million times in outfits and it will never end.

I.O.I Mini Album Vol. 1 Chrysalis - Album Review (Special Edition)

Recently I was cleaning my bookcase and came across this album which was super popular back when it came out. We are talking about the OG Produce 101 group I.O.I and this is their first physical release. I remember being so excited to order this as I watched all the episodes of the first season. It is rather large and takes up a fair amount of space on the shelf. I used to have it facing outwards so you could see the cover however now it's just stacked with other albums.

Chrysalis is the debut mini album from korean girl group I.O.I and it was released on May 4th 2016. Which it's insane to think that it is one year off being 10 years since being released. Wow that's crazy and even more crazy if you think about what an amazing group I.O.I could've been if it wasn't temporary. The mini album was released in two editions: Normal and Special. The normal edition came with a 68 paged photobook and a random photo card. It is housed in your typical hardcover style k-pop album and the photobooks are glued in place. I brought the special edition from YesAsia as I thought that would the harder one to get if I didn't buy it and I would regret it. The Special Edition comes with the following: 

• Outer box packaging
• CD - 7 track mini album
  
• 100 paged photobook (68-pages same as regular edition + additional 30 pages)
• Making photobook 
• Four postcards - Group and member units

Fashion Dreamer Lookits Collection 8 - Unique Styles

Posting a Fashion Dreamer Lookits Collection for this week's blog post. I have a giant folder of ones to get through so let's start with this selection. This first outfit turned out perfectly and the muse who made this focused on matching the items to my muse's hair colour. Like it's spot on! Plus I really like the tones they used on the dress and it has a unique vibe compared to some Lolita dresses.

Second is this girly inspired look which I love as I'm obsessed with this type of skirt in Fashion Dreamer. The cut is rather interesting and the check detail is cute peaking out. I like how they didn't just go for all pink and there are some brown tones as well.

This outfit is totally a vibe and I love the vibrant pinks and purples. It reminds me of items I've been obsessed with lately in Animal Crossing and the colour tones kind of remind me of gaming technology. It always has crazy bright colours and is always pink or purple. Also I have been using these boots quite a lot in game and I love having more colours to choose from. Or in this case, more shades of pink.

Outfit Of The Day - Cool In Pink

After a long break, I have returned to blogging! Sadly I just wasn't in a headspace with health and other things going on to blog. Now that I'm feeling better, I wanted to make a new post on the blog. Nothing fancy with just an outfit from Fashion Dreamer. 

This cool looking pink ensemble was one that I became obsessed with the minute I created it. Honestly I don't wear a lot of pink in real life as it can be a bit gaudy however I do love this pastel pink tone. So I tried to use pieces that matched that colour and I went for a cool inspired look. Didn't go crazy with patterns with just the checkered board print on the skirt. Thought this boots matched the vibes of the outfit perfectly and had to use a choker necklace for the accessories.

Kep1er 2nd Mini Album Review DOUBLAST - Album Review (B1ue Blast Jewel Case Version)

The inspiration for today's blog post is that I haven't posted a music review in ages so that is what we are going for. I randomly picked an album in my blog backlog and it is the 2nd Mini Album from K-Pop group Kep1er!

DOUBLAST is the 2nd Mini Album from Korean girl group Kep1er and it was released on June 20th 2022. The mini was released in four versions: Lemon Blast and B1ue Blast with both having a photobook and jewel case format. I ordered the jewel case format from YesAsia who sent a random version and I ended up the B1ue Blast one. I did like the concept of the Lemon Blast version more however this one is still fun and fresh. The jewel case format of DOUBLAST comes with the following:

• CD - 5 track mini album
• Jewel case
• 16 page photobook
• Photocard (Random 2 out of 18 types)
• Postcard (Random 1 out of 9 types)

January Favourites

First post of 2025 is a monthly favourites as this is the first time I've been back on blogger since the start of the new year. Unfortunately January hasn't been the best month for me as I had to suddenly go to the hospital one day as I was quite unwell. So I haven't been too active this month and wasn't on my computer really at all. Today I am feeling slightly better and thought it would be nice to put up a new post. Let's get into it!

Gaming

I thought being unwell would give me time to play my Nintendo Switch whilst lying around but I couldn't because of vertigo/dizziness. So the only thing I played was Island Farmer which is a puzzle game where you re-arrange blocks to form farms and landscapres. I have completed the game previously and just restarted all the levels as something simple to play to past the time. Definetly check this game out if you are a fan of puzzle games as well as the developers other title Island Cities.

Downloaded Animal Crossing Pocket Camp after the longest time and I have been enjoying the new version. The main reason I stopped playing was the constant stress from events and grinding to complete them. However the new Complete version of the game as made it less time consuming and you do not have to constantly be checking it every three hours. Luckily I saved my data to my Nintendo account so I still have my previous save which was great as I had high levels and cool items.

Not something I played this month but a game I was thinking about recently which is Fashion Dreamer. I was reading some information about the future of the game online and I saw rumours that they are planning to discontinue the online servers. Now I totally understand why the devs are doing that however it would be a shame if that part of the game wasn't accessible anymore. I am going to wait to see what happens in the next update announcement of the game and honestly I don't see much future for Fashion Dreamer as we never got the fashion shows feature or the fairs are just repeats of previous ones.

Beauty

Received a lovely order from Sportsgirl recently as I took advantage of their great selection of items in the sale section whilst I was unwell. Nothing like a little retail therapy to make you feel better. I needed some small sized bags/wallets for different things and a few things from their beauty range. Sportsgirl has a great range of make-up and you often see the display surrounded by tweens in the stores. Which is awesome because I feel Sportsgirl is more age appropriate for them than somewhere like Mecca or Sephora (which are both stupidly expensive here in Australia). I used to wear quite a lot of Sportsgirl beauty when I was a teenager mainly because it would be gifted to me. One of the items I brought is this bright eye shadow palette as I've been wanting to buy a new palette for ages but couldn't never find anything besides the typical browns and neutrals. So this colourful palette was right up my alley and I love the retro Sportsgirl design. I did have a palette from the brand a while ago however it gave me a reaction on my eyes. So I'm hoping this one will be better as the shades are different and I only paid $5 so I won't feel bad if it doesn't work out.
