June Favourites & Quick Blog Update

It has been a little while since I updated the blog and life has been a roller coaster the last two months. I just couldn't bring myself to write new blog posts and luckily I had some Fashion Dreamer content scheduled to go up. Everything has been better the last week and looks like it might be on the brighter side now so fingers crossed. 

I'm trying to get back into blogging a bit more however I am wondering on what direction to take the blog in terms of content. Some of my old content has been retired such as certain Style Boutique ones as I cannot play them anymore nor I do I play game much. Plus with writing up posts, some take way more time than others and it just isn't worth it sometimes. I was thinking more short content like outfit posts and not uploading every single week. It is too difficult to fit into my schedule and it may become harder in the future. Hoping to work through my backlog of Nintendo Switch game screenshots and they should make for some fun posts! Gaming

Honestly I haven't been playing much as I started crocheting a cardigan and I've been working on that at night. Plus I've been insanely tired so I don't have much energy to game and when I was sick recently, I couldn't even look at my Switch. Nothing super amazing in the sales recently besides the Hidden Cat game series that I like and the new Paris one is super cute. There is an event going on in Fashion Dream that I have slowly been working on and need to finish. I haven't recently cleared off my Switch SD card so here is a random Fashion Dreamer screenshot for fun!

Music

My earbuds broke this month so that was fantastic. And only a few weeks out of the warranty but luckily I got the extended care so they got sent off to be looked at. After that, a whole bunch of my other electronics also died so not my month for technology.

I feel like I've listened to a billion different things this month and last month as I didn't post an update for May. Lately I've been really into this Finnish group called Nylon Beat and have a random rotation of their songs going on Youtube Music. Their sound is so unique and beautiful to listen to! 

For a while, I was super obsessed with aespa's Supernova and it was on loop for days. Such an amazing song however I am currently on a break from it from over playing it too much. I was looking forward to getting their new album however my local music store stopped stocking aespa. So sad! The change in suppliers and price increase was the culprit and even though I could order it in, it was way too expensive. Could've ordered it for half the price from overseas. So I haven't got their new album yet but might pick it up on iTunes. I did get some cool photocards online of the girls and it was much cheaper than buying the pricey albums.

Outfit Of The Day - Plaid & Denim

I swear the only pattern I wear in Fashion Dreamer is the plaid one. I cannot help as it just looks so good! I must've been in a purple mood when creating this outfit as it screams purple all over. This skirt is one of my favourite items and I thought it would be nice to pair it with a jacket rather than a cardigan. The denim jackets are designed really well in the game and look great with most outfits. Well all the ones I've tried it has looked great. I went for a mix of pastel and deep purples for this look as well as matching my hair to the outfit. This hairstyle is one of my favourites along with the pigtails one that I wear like 90% of the time. As soon as I changed my look at the salon, I just had to take a photo as I was feeling amazing! Plus the background looked great with the outfit as there was purple tones in the backdrop.

Outfit Of The Day - My Designer Items

Here is an outfit made from some clothing items that I designed myself! I've actually been using that feature of the game more in recent months and at first I was obsessed with this brown toned colour scheme. I made so many items in these tones feeling like I was some sort of clothing designer. This dress has an interesting overall design to it and isn't like anything I've seen before. Reminds me of something I might see at Dangerfield which is a shop I like browsing through but rarely buy from. There was lots of different parts of this design that you could customise which was neat and I tried to keep the same neutral brown vibe. The silhouette of this dress is one of my favourite features and I like this style of cut in real life as it looks quite flattering and suits my body shape.

Outfit Of The Day - Retro Classic

Another preppy inspired look for today's outfit and I'm just obsessed with this style. Even though Fashion Dreamer doesn't have set clothing themes or styles, I usually just associate styles to items myself. Guess it is a habit from playing Style Boutique so much and memorizing the brands. Anyway I put together this cute pinafore styled dress. I swear I have this dress in multiple colours and you often see it in the Pop-Up Arena as well! It seems to be a popular item design and that makes total sense as it is amazing. Matched these lolita style shoes with the outfit and a red lip for the makeup.
