Since WJSN has been in the news recently for their contract renewal, I thought I would post one of my WJSN mini albums. The group has always been one I've been interested in from a casual perspective and have three of their releases in my collection. WJSN has such a beautiful concept and their physical releases never disappoint. Today is all about their mini album Dream You Dream!
Recently I was going through some books in my bookcase and then spent an hour reading through old game guides. It has been a while since I last posted content from the Girls Mode 3 Glitter ☆ Coordination Book so that was the inspiration for today's post. Took some photos of all the lovely items from the Baker Bridge brand! This brand is also known as Brooke Bridge in the Style Boutique and Style Savvy games. No idea which names I prefer as they both fit the preppy image of the brand and Baker kind of reminds me of Sherlock Holmes for obvious reasons. Maybe that is why it is called that as it links to the detective style of some of the items.
Whilst putting together these outfits, I had the realisation that some Enid Chen pieces are really gaudy. I've never noticed it before but some of the items were just too flashy and didn't look cohesive together. I guess that's the appeal of the chic style and often pricey items in the real world are quite ugly. Money cannot buy taste is an appropriate saying for this situation. Honestly I prefer the first and second outfits from this set. The third one just has something off about it that I don't like. The first look is very secretary whilst the second is serving James Bond girl vibes.
Have you ever been scrolling through YouTube and come across a video that changes your life? Well that was me when I discovered ニッポン笑顔百景 Nippon Egao Hyakkei by Momoiro Clover Z. This group had somehow completely flown under my radar and I had never heard any of their stuff. But I just fell in love with this quirky song and knew I needed the single! And luckily I was able to find a copy and we shall be looking at it today.
Is Autumn one of our favourite seasons? I find it more appealing than winter but it can still be quite cold and I hate the cold. Sometimes me city experiences a heatwave in Autumn which is a nice break just before the cold weather hits. For this weeks outfits, I went for some looks that were perfect for both warm and cool weather. Three quarter pants only seems appropriate this time of year and I used to own a pair that looked just like this. It did have glitter on the thighs originally but it wore off eventually. What was with the 2000's and putting glitter on pants all the time? I had a camo pair of cargo pants with the same thing. The last outfit in the orange would be the one I would wear out of these three and I love using this biker jacket in all my looks.
Across the Style Boutique series, Brooke Bridge has stayed one of my favourite brands in the game. I think that is because I'm a big fan of the preppy/uniform style in real life and the brand features a range of gorgeous items. Plus Styling Star gave us some amazing new additions to the brand. There could've been stacks of outfits to make for this weeks post however I tried to utilise items I haven't used too much. My favourite outfit of the three would be the last one as I'm loving the combination of shades of pink. And I finally got a hat to look good in an outfit! This particular style of hat I always find difficult to build into looks.
Jeez it has been forever since I posted a music review as I've been focusing on Style Boutique content. I mentioned this in some other posts that I will continue to post reviews however they will not be as detail. Unfortunately I do not have the time to write super long posts anymore so they will be less text heavy with more photos. And who doesn't' love pretty photos especially of K-Pop or J-Pop? Alright lets get into the first review of 2023 which is After School's 1st Album Virgin.
Virgin is the first and only album from Korean pop group After School and it was released on the 27th of April 2011. The album only came in one version and features new member E-Young. I got my copy second hand through Yahoo Auctions as I'm a big After School fan and 2nd Gen K-Pop groups. My album came with the following contents:
The Styling Star instalment of the Style Boutique series has given me a new appreciation for the Chorale brand. I never took it too seriously and thought it was the less good version of Marzipan Sky. But I feel with the newer graphics of Styling Star and range of new items, I changed my opinion. Over the years of posting outfits, I definitely found some gems from the Chorale and today I used some items I hadn't tried on before. Now firstly I have used this inner before but not with this skirt and I feel it kind of works. Looking back on it now, it isn't crazy amazing and would make a killer business outfit. Loved how the second outfit turned out as this striped tee matches so well with these shorts! Everything is so orange in this one. Lastly we have a elegant dress which I wasn't really feeling until I put on the hat. That just changed everything and I loved how it turned out as this hat doesn't work with every outfit.
