Hello Kitty Island Adventure - I Got Addicted

So I brought Hello Kitty Island Adventure a few months and it consumed my life. I couldn't stop playing it whenever I had free time. My work schedule was crazy busy and when I would come home from work, I would just sit for an hour and play Hello Kitty. Then I was unwell for all of January and now we are somehow halfway through March. I made it my mission this week to update the blog as I haven't had a chance to post on here for a little while. I've barely even played Model debut4 as I got so into playing Hello Kitty with my limited free time :(

Now onto the game which is amazing! When it first came out, I remember seeing people giving mixed opinions on it so I held off buying it. I thought I'll wait for a sale and indeed one came along! I was able to get it super cheap at work plus the deluxe expansion was on sale on the eShop at the same time. My friend had been recommending the game to me and I love Sanrio characters, so it seemed like the perfect time to buy it. And I do not regret it as it is super fun!! It's super cute seeing all the characters together and I love the art style. Look at Pochacco with his little arms up in the air!

This won't be a crazy filled play journal as I mainly wanted to share some screenshots. No idea what happened to this null who is just chilling on the umbrella. They seem to end up there quite often for some reason. Weird glitch possibly. After that is Pompompurin who is one of my top Sanrio characters. The list for me is Pompompurin/Cinnamoroll then Pochacco/Hangyodon/Tuxedosam. I also like Gudetama and have a few gachapon keyrings of the character as you used to be able to get them free with J-pop orders on YesAsia year ago.

There are so many locations to visit in the game and the latest I unlocked with the Merry Meadow. Just got my second giant seed to unlock a new section there. Haven't done the ice area yet as I need another stamina apple. The swamp area is cool how you can swim around in it and see all the fish underwater. I'm still confused why you cannot donate fish to the nature preserve. I love collecting games and it seemed odd to have so many fish types in the game but not have anywhere to put them all together.

 

 

No idea what is going on in this photo as my character appears to be sitting in the water. So many bugs crawling around in the background too. Whilst compiling all the photos for this post, there was a large amount of useless ones. I kept wondering why I had so many of my character just sitting in the middle of the ocean. Turns out the camera button is next to the map button and I always press the wrong one.

A bit of a traffic jam happening at the comedy club as it seems all the characters spawned in at once. I do like when lots of characters are in one location as it makes it easy to give them gifts rather than having to track them all down across the map. After that are some cute photos I took with characters and it's great that you can do poses with them! Take note other switch games (looking at you Fashion Dreamer).

Collecting gudetama's across the map is one of my favourite things to do. He is always hiding somewhere doing a silly pose. Think I have over 100 now and I don't actively look for them really. If I come across one, I'll take a snap. Maybe once I get to a certain point, I'll look up a map of where the missing ones are in the main areas. There is probably a really obvious one by the beach or swamp that I've missed.
